Acid0
Hi there guys Great forum Could any of the hard core modders tell me if its possible to installe a new car without replacing the old one with it or do you need the images for the new mod of the old car? Or is it as simple as adding it to the archive and adding it to all the txt docs that needs to be updated? Could you please let me know thanks
Damjan
You need IMG Tool 2.0 for this. The files you want to put for the new car must be putted in a folder so you can replace them. You'll see which file has the same name as the new car, right click on it and in any case make a backup by clicking extract. Then right click and replace it with the ones you putted in a folder. Acid0
No I think you misunderstood me. I know how to replace vehicles in the GTA.img file for the txd and dff files. I am interested in knowing if you am able to add more cars that already is in there. For example GTA Sa released 10 cars in the game can you ad another one without replacing an existing one with one of the mod vehicles so that there are 11 cars ingame now? Angry Gorilla
That is not possible at all, even if you were to install your car into the GTA3 img you wouldn't be able to even drive it at all, let alone be able to find or spawn it with a Car Spawn Trailer. Looks like you're in a pickle.
