Slyde
UK national newspaper The Guardian named Rockstar North in a feature highlighting the top 50 brightest design talents in Britain this weekend, honouring the GTA developer for being a pioneer in the open-ended sandbox style of play that is so common today. And while not exactly a thumbs-up from The Daily Mail, seeing the controversial game creator acknowledged in the mainstream media in a positive light certainly makes a refreshing change. Also included on the list (which wasn't numbered, by the way) were Jonathan Ive, the designer behind Apple's iPod; London Underground for its "tube-inspired products" and Moritz Waldemeyer, who has crafted a table covered in LEDs that can play Pong. Which is awesome, frankly. Source I was bored..and found this.
TM™
Dazza posted this on RsW today, here's what I said: Nice to see these guys getting a positive response about them. Even though I said they may have downfalls, it seems I could be wrong since they're already getting a huge response about this.Nice find Dazza BTW. Well, there's my comment.
