Din
Alright this is probably one of my last resorts...I've tried everything ever listed and done everything in the book. My problem first started with the mod shop, I had gone in and someone had gotten out of the car and I crashed. After that I could never really use the mod shop. This is a common problem with SAMP I understand but then it started effecting my housing. I can no longer own a house, I don't know if it's my draw distance or the little icon i step on when I leave the house...But every time I try to log in and leave my house- I crash. When this first started I would crash a few times and then be okay...Now it's I crash for an entire hour....every hour. I'm surprised I still try and play this game. It just shows how much I really enjoy it. I've gone over my problem with people that have no idea wtf they are doing to people with tons of computer experience. Nothing has yet to solve my problem...well...sort of. The other night a good friend told me I should try checking my admin error log and whatnot, so I went to the control panel and admin and checked the error logs. There I found tons of problems with my GTA. I copied the errors into google and came up with a few posts from this site, someone had the problem awhile back a fixed it. I think it said something along the lines of having a scratch or a problem with the CD. So I took the CD out and cleaned it and it amazingly worked. Unfortinuately it did not pass the test of time with me trying to get a house, the minute I went and rent at a house...logged out and back in...and tried to leave- crash. And ever since then I've been crashing like I did before I cleaned the CD. The errors are the same so I really have no idea what to do. I'm seeking help and guidance as I love this game and the multi player mod and RP server I am playing on. Please someone help me... I own the retail (second edition) of GTA:SA. I have downgraded the version so I can play on the SAMP client. I have the latest SAMP client. I have tried updating my drivers (a horrible process as i ended up doing something horrible but fixed it..long story) I have tried the "common problems" section on SAMP wiki. I have tried to use a "NO-CD" crack (not a problem since i OWN the game). Could very well be a bad crack though My system specs shouldn't be a problem as I've been every MMO in the book: Windows XP Pro Pent 4 3.00 GHz 3 GB RAM ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 256 MB Graphics Card The following are some screens of my errors: Please god...Someone help me, I really just want to play the damn game... rockstarrem
Before you do that try running the game without any downgrading and cracking.
Din
Before you do that try running the game without any downgrading and cracking. You must downgrade to v1.0 in order to use the SAMP client I tried using the v1.0 no cd crack from hoodlum or something... Thought it was going to work... But crashed. /sigh
