when I'm in a car & driving around, the game kinda jerks, or freezes for couple of micro-seconds. the game play isnt smooth.

whats more anoying, is if I've got the radio on, all the songs are also interuped by this.

What can I do, I system is as follows:

P4 3.0ghz

512DDR ram

256mb Ati Radeon 9550

80gig sata

asrock MB board with on-board sound

please help

If I got it right, your video should compare close to an N-Vidia 5500 (tech guys could tell you for sure) & your 256 meg of

video RAM should be more than plenty. That should be more than plenty for SA.

Processor is well above adequate, & RAM should be enough. I'm running a full gig, but have ran on 512.

On paper, it looks like SA should run no prob on your machine.

When is the last time you defragged your hard drive? If you have anti-virus software, run it. If not, download AVG from

their site (free & legal) unless you plan to buy something better. Start w/ these & see if it helps.

I'm no Brainiac on this sort of thing but it sounds like you're having trouble with drive access... It could be your HD can't keep up with the demand. This could be because you need to update your motherboard's I/O drivers (check the Asroc site). Or if the radio playing makes it worse it makes me wonder if you've got the sound data coming off the DVD instead of it being installed on the HD?
