365_days_gone Posted February 9, 2008 Share Posted February 9, 2008 So I finally got cars put in but now theres no sound. I go to the audio options and it has no hardware found. WRX22B1998 Posted February 9, 2008 Share Posted February 9, 2008 Audio drivers are not recognized... **************************************************************** MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT BEFORE DOING THIS **************************************************************** do you get a BSOD at ALL? blue screen error? it would be blue with white writing (usually) If you do then write down the error code or error type eg of type DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL eg of error code *** STOP 0x000000D1 etc etc Did you build this PC yourself or is it proprietary (brandname) ? If its proprietary then umm ... it should have either a recovery partition? or recovery disc? Check device manager... start > run > devmgmt.msc to see if theres any conflicts / problems..expand all the categories (click the plus) and post back here if there are any yellow question marks [?] then check if you have drivers for this stuff.. Is your directX up to date for vice city (DX 9.0) to check run start > run > dxdiag Thats all the un-obvious stuff i can think of... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
