Share internet from laptop to ps2

OK...heres the situation

I have my laptop in my room, with internet / network connectivity via wireless 802.11. I have my ps2, like 2m away, it has online capability, but has a ethernet jack. My laptop also has a ethernet jack. Can I share the wireless connection (internet) to the ps2 via a crossover or straight ethernet cable?

Or is this totally out of the question / impossible?
