Error Code: RMN20 Cause: Service pack 1 is not installed on Windows Vista. Cure: Download and install SP1. Error Code: RMN30 Cause: Service Pack 2 is not installed on Windows XP64/Server 2003. Cure: Download and Install SP2. Error Code: RMN40 Cause: Service pack 3 is not installed on your Windows XP. Cure: Download and Install SP3. Error code: DD3D50 Cause: DirectX9 is not installed or card does not support Dx9. Cure: Download and install Dx9 or higher. In case of the later get a card which supports Dx9. Error code: TEXP110/DWIN10/DWIN20 Cause: Direct3D Error. Cure: Restart the game. Error codes: DD3D10/DD3D30/DWIN30/ Cause: Direct3D error Cure: Restart you System Error Code: DD3D20 Cause: Direct3D error Cure: Re-install the game and/or re-install DirectX Error Code: DD3D60 Cause: Shader Model 3.0 or higher is required, Grapics card is not supported. (Optional -- Very safe -- Recommended For Everyone) Click here. ------ People getting the RMN40 error If for some reason you prefer not to update to Service pack 3( Slow internet,etc) you can use this method which basically tricks the game into thinking your running Sp3. Its been tested and confirmed to work and I personally will be testing it in today. I or TGTAP am not responsible for any damage to your computer or sexuality so yeah.. 1. Go to Start Menu>Run, Type regedit in the box that pops up2. Go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Windows" 3. Make a backup** of the file you re going to edit 4. Change the value of "CSDVersion" from "0x00000200" (SP2) to the Windows XP SP3 value of "0x00000300" 5. Close regedit 6. Restart your system 7. Open Gta 8. ????????? 9. Profit. ** Making a Backup of a registry: Select the file your editing, goto File>Export and save it on the Desktop or you preferred location. I'll update the topic with the rest in sometime.
