Not a Fanboy Posted January 14, 2009 Share Posted January 14, 2009 I have the PC version of GTA IV and it wants me to make an account. I don't want to make accounts, I hate making accounts. It says if I don't make an account I can't save my progress, Does this mean my save file gets stored on Rockstar's server and I need internet access everytime I want to play? Because the reason I installed it was so I would have something to do when I am away from my internet (out of town, etc). Is there a way I can save without internet access? So if I get a save I need the dll, and if I want to do my own saves it has to make and xlive.dll? So is each xlive.dll linked to an account. So do I only need to go online once?
