_Ray
OK, for audio I have Onboard Realtek AC'97 Audio. When I was 8, and knew nothing about PCs, the company that built my PC put in a SB Live! Sound Card at my request, so that I could have a gameport for my keyboard to use in Cakewalk Music Creator. Up until about a week ago, I used the SB for audio. Now, after re-installing the drivers, etc., I'm back to the AC'97 for audio, I like it much better. However, I still have my SB Live! Card that I use for it's game port. Currently, I have my midi wires, and some old joystick plugged in. In Windows Sound in the Control Panel, I have MIDI enabled for that card, and all audio out/recording enabled in the AC'97. So my question is, can I use my joystick via game port in FSX, and my onboard AC'97 for audio simultaneously? (Techincally, I'll be using FSX when I get my new PC, and using the onboard audio that that, and putting in the SB Live! PCI Card for the game port. Same scenario though.)
