My Vice City works fine for at least 30 minutes before it starts to speed up and slow back down. Its like a lag spike, goes fast and slows down. My character runs normally, but after the 30 minutes or so, he starts to run really fast and than slows down. Why? Oh and I run the game off of the GTA vice Ultimate trainer. WRX22B1998 Posted May 11, 2009 Share Posted May 11, 2009 (edited) make sure frame limiter is set to ON in the options. some people have said with dual core processors it runs weird (i think it was AMD dual core) so go to task manager and then processes then right click gta-vc.exe and click set affinity, and check only 1 box if neither of those fix the problem, try running without the trainer. if it still doesnt work, reinstall.
