nizmobro Posted April 22, 2010 Share Posted April 22, 2010 Can anyone help me get my steering wheel to work with San Andreas on PC? I've looked around, and most people say not to because it would make it hard to play, but I would have to say it would be very easy with the wheel I have. I have the Logitech Driving Force Pro(the one from Gran Turismo 4) so it has all the Playstation buttons on it plus a D-Pad, its a nice setup. It works on other games on PC, and it works only a little in San Andreas. It lets me use the buttons and D-Pad to run and drive around, but I want to be able to use the pedals and wheel when driving. Can anyone help me with this. maybe there's a patch or a mod that I can't seem to find anywhere for this. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
MrLlamaLlama Posted April 22, 2010 Share Posted April 22, 2010 You might be able to get your wheel to work with a program called SAAC (San Andreas advanced control) - if you map the conventional analouge x, y, zx, zy sticks as steering movements you could make it work. As for the pedals, SAAC maps controls separately for on foot and in vehicle situations, so the pedals could be accelerate, whilst another button could be sprint without conflict.
