Chocozai
Sup all again. I was installing loads on mods into SA, all of which worked like a dream. I usually install cars in batches and then check them in SA. But now i installed 10 or so new cars and the game wont load up. The loading bar gets about a third full and then the game crashes and closes. This already happened to me once before so last time i reinstalled the gta3.img and data files and lost all my mods. I dont want to do this again. Could anyone suggest how to fix this and how to prevent it again in the future? Thanx again
Prophet
Unfortunately, there are no guarantees with us modding our games. If you happen to get your hands on that one mod that screws everything up, you can either backtrack (on an individual basis) or reinstall and start over. I suggest you get Delphis' GTAGarage mod manager (or GGMM) and test your mods individually before installing them. It can be found @ GTAGarage.com. ALEXE
check the handling file and see if there is a space between 2 lines usually that's the problem the same might be in the other files: carcols, carmods, vehicles.ide and so on... there shouldn't be spaces between lines, i had that once and my game wouldn't start hope it helps
