  1. right-click on your Vice root folder and select 'properties', uncheck the 'read only' box at the bottom and select 'apply to all folders and subfolders' and hit apply. The attributes must be cleared in order for your modifications to work properly.
  2. Unfortunately, there are no guarantees with us modding our games. If you happen to get your hands on that one mod that screws everything up, you can either backtrack (on an individual basis) or reinstall and start over. I suggest you get Delphis' GTAGarage mod manager (or GGMM) and test your mods individually before installing them. It can be found @ GTAGarage.com.

I highly recommend a manual install using Spookies IMG tool. It doesn't bug (like most editors) and it's simple to use. Other than that, you already have the other tool needed... notepad. Here's a link for ya... JUST CLICK!

A shot of how the doors will operate ~hehehe
  5. You would need to get an editor and edit the .scm. Prolly find a good one @GTAF.
  6. I guess that would be a no ~lmmfao!

Another scratch design for ya! I think Chris asked what I had in the works next... well, I've been doing this for the last three days and I should be finishing it here shortly (2-3 more days). Yup-Yup! Stinkfist has a new Limo! whoo-hoo! rock and roll!!! The handling is premium as well... ya'll gonna like this one. ~hehehe aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand......... I'm out!
  8. You need to get a modeling program (I recommend GMax... it's free and Kam has an export script for it). I think others might have some wheel modz out there (.dff) but I'm not 100% positive. You can either modify the wheels.dff or take your favorite .dff (vehicle) and put new wheels on it with a modeling program and then install DMagic1s' wheel mod for them to show in game. Honestly, you need some modeling/modding experience to pull it off. You can't just instantly get new wheels, you have to modify a few things first. EDIT~ ok, I answered his question Necromancer... btw, why did you drag up this post from over a year ago? if you wanted to know... there you go.
  9. Ok, then come up with a rhyme right off the top of your head then. Pac was the shiz... always will be in my mind. He was a true rebel in the fact that he spoke out against the government and their poverty inducing ways, corporations and people with their shit behaviors. 50... fake as gently caress. I agree with most of you here that rap has turned for the worse with their constant mental duh-dribble of bling, weed and bitches. Originaly rap was a rebelious thing, bring that back! I listen to all kinds of genres though... I love math, and music is just that... math! A person that only listens to one kind of music only shows how closed minded they are. (no offence to those who's insecurities might take that the wrong way) My alltime favorite... MARLEY!!!
  10. I'm LMMFAO!!! hellz yeah! that's funny dookie right there (or do you guys like to practice freedom of speech?) In case you do, I'll repeat... That's some funny fuckin' shit! EDIT~ ba hahaahaaha!!!
  11. Pointer of the month... download Gmax and get Cams' import/export script for it. Gmax is ten times easier to learn and you can use ZM to finish it and get it in game.
  12. ^^^ I tend to agree, I've been over @ GTAF for a while and the general attitude over there is one of arrogance. A noob comes along and gets berated for not knowing certain things or doesn't even get answered... it's redundant. I guess with jackasses like 'greenbacks' on the userlist, it makes it even more difficult (anybody else get that spam this morning?) to stick around but I'm enjoyin' the company here... it seems mellow and laid back, I like that. BTW... Happy stab your native american brother in the back day! I just love my nation... not!
  13. @ Steven~ Hope ya like... if you have any problems just holla! @ C.O.D. that bites ass!!! me sorry

I began modding about two years ago starting with GTA3 and the 'Real GTA package'. I tweaked a few handling lines, started getting into installing map modz and my own .txd modz. My interest just continued to grow... I DL'd ZM (thanks Oleg!) and tried modeling but I didn't get the grasp of the U.I. I then ran across Gmax and it was on! The U.I. in Max is da shiz and the tools are outrageous! All I had to do then was export my model and import it to ZM and do the final steps (dummy placement, hierarchy and finish the mapping). I now know the U.I. to ZM like the back of my hand. I successfully completed my first model (the Heli-X) about 9-11 months ago (don't recall) and I've been runnin' with it since. Once I learned how (like anything) it became simple. I just never gave up. lol.

@ Chris... nah, I'm takin' a small break and doing some of my other love, music. I've got a scratch designed Heli for VC as well (in the middle of updating it) but you can check it by clicking on my Sig. if you would like to see it. I'm going to do another vehicle soon but I would like to get these converted for SA. Thank you for the compliments sir!
