It means the amount of overall bandwidth the mod has consumed from downloads. also know as data transfer. Say if a file is 10mb and its downloaded 10 times it would consume 100mb in "traffic" or bandwidth. Bandwidth on the internet is very important. Websites like this one only have so much bandwidth. Like a 200 gigabytes a month or 50 gigabytes a month. Sometimes website go over their bandwidth limit. Which means either the site will go offline for awhile or the webmaster has to pay for more. Each time you go to a website like viewing this topic it consumes bandwidth also and creates 'traffic". I think the gtaplaces front page wieghs about 50 KB.
