  1. 4.01 M33 Eazy Installer Link

I am posting a link to the page where I put it and the instructions. Typing it out once on one site and the simply linking to it is the simplest way. Should I need to make edits I only have to do it once and not 20 times...

PS I know it's old but I am putting it here for archival purposes or if anyone still would happen to find it useful...

  2. I have the PC version of GTA IV and it wants me to make an account. I don't want to make accounts, I hate making accounts. It says if I don't make an account I can't save my progress, Does this mean my save file gets stored on Rockstar's server and I need internet access everytime I want to play? Because the reason I installed it was so I would have something to do when I am away from my internet (out of town, etc).

Is there a way I can save without internet access?

  3. I know someone from the MTA team has San Andreas/MTA working right with Linux, not sure about SA-MP. Cedega would probably be your best choice though.

Cool you have Ubuntu in your sig. I switched to it from Vista permanently a while ago (see the thread "what does your pc have?"). I have KDE but wanna do this before I use it:

    (see the image http://ubuntuforums.org/attachment.php?att...p;d=1211600025)

This is really off topic, but if you want to switch between Gnome and KDE from Gnome all you do is

    sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop

    I'm guessing in KDE it's

    sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

There should be a choice now. Is that what you want to do?

And I don't know who it was Mike that was really random.

I had Ubuntu then installed kubuntu-desktop.

What I want to do is have the KDE toolbar but the desktop from Gnome. Like when I double click a folder it will open in Nautilus instead of Konqueror and the thing is I started in Ubuntu and positioned my icons, when I goto Kubuntu the icons arent positioned, and instead of repositioning them, I want it to just have my old desktop where they are positioned. THis is kinda hard to explain...

  5. A while ago I said bye to Vista. I installed Mac OS X tiger X86 for the hell of it, but it sucked (no sounder, WLAN, ethernet, and I had no Mac programs). A day after installing OSX I put ubuntu on. the day after that my hard drive failed. I was using live CDs for a while (Ubuntu, Kubuntu), the day after that I got a new hard drive. Still 160 GB, but this one is quieter and uses less battery power. I installed Ubuntu and am using that now.

  6. Spider-Vice, I think I know the answer to your problem. In your SA folder, right-click the gta_sa.exe and go to properties. Click on the compatibility tab, and run the program in compatibility mode for Windows 98 / Windows Me. Sawwy, Mike.

I'm using XP, I didn't know that was needed. :lolbounce:

I think I used San Andreas on Vista just fine.

    Dont play games much anymore...

  7. Broz, are you so broke that you can't afford the five dollars a month for XBL? Just joking, but I seriously don't understand why you think the way you do.

I dont have a credit card and the point is I shouldnt pay someone who is already rich, plus my Xbox is modded so I cant get online anyways.

    Go Kai!

  8. Psh, illegality and IP addresses? People are too paranoid. I've been mass-downloading random shit for years. If they thought that a threat or a problem, I would've been in prison years ago. And trust me, I do have shit to hide.

My IP address use to reset if I turned off my modem. Funny, I use to do it to get back into these very forums.

    What are you pirating stuff?

If you change your IP and they do wanna find you, can they obtain your new IP from your old one, or is that IP not tied to you anymore.

  9. After all, it is much better to upgrade your PC to play San Andreas than to waste time burning a new DVD every time you install or remove a mod on the PS2 version.

Doesnt the Xbox have a hard drive to store mods on?

Also I cannot buy that stuff online, just saying. My current PC plays it fine, however I like the Xbox version better since I can use a controller and its easier to play on Xbox than PC (like if parents wont let me use computer, almost 18 though)

  10. 1. Why is this in Serious Chat?

    2. Why did you link to a downloadable file that, although free of viruses, is far too small to be any kind of video?

    3. I'm assuming the tutorial leads you to use the ipconfig /release and /renew commands, which should work regardless of your hardware.

I dont know if they work for me for two reasons:

I use a router (built into my modem):

    2.jpg

    I am using Windows Vista.

I think I would have to release the IP on the router, renewing the IP on the computer probably just does the local IP for that machine...

  11. This may sounf stupid because I like the music in SA, but still wanna try other stuff too (add more gangsta rap!)

But how do I get CST? If I press start then goto audio and where it lists the radio stations, there is a thing that says custom tracks.

I have MP3s on my hard drive. I googles and got irrelevant results (some people complain about CST on 360, but not XB1).

A couple of days ago I got an Xbox from a guy I know, I have Xbox media center and can play music from there.
