Chris, to improve it, it'd be nice if you had a section where anyone could just upload pictures quick. Also, an option to copy the direct link to the pic without having to actually highlight all of it, etc. would be good. Like a button that says "copy" or some shit. Just to make it faster so I can get the pic to my friends before the joke has taken me 8 hours to complete.

Heh, I'd actually like to know as well. Anyway, so Spain beat Russia 3-0.
I didn't get to watch any of it, but I heard Russia played disappointing. As in, they kinda just went to total shit/gave up/lost hope after Spain's first goal or something? I'm sure it'll be on again later, I'll watch it then. Good job Spain.So it's Germany v. Spain. I honestly couldn't care less for who wins now, although I like Torres, I guess I'll favor Germany since I really, really like Schweinsteiger. I've also always liked their coach, Joachim Löw (plus me and my brother constantly make jokes about how Germany should just demolish every team and be pissed off while doing it, etc.
). Still kinda pissed about Russia losing, oh well, go Germany I suppose. :/

Did anyone else have troubles watching the match? Apparently there was lightning around where they were playing and it kept cutting the international feed or something? (That's what the commentators were saying.) Did anyone else miss the two goals (one from each side) in the late second half of the game? Well I did due to that, and Germany scored to make it 2-1 and nobody on ESPN had a clue what was happening, then Turkey scored again to make it 2-2 and no one again had an idea what was happening, then it came back on and I saw Germany's final goal to make it 3-2. Awesome game, good effort by Turkey at the end. :/

Its difficult to explain why Russia are in the final four, its like this, top teams who play the best football dont always win and if you have an 'Off Day' you can go out easily.
Russia coasted through the group in my opinion and only beat Sweden as they have an aging defence, and to me Hollands group was much tougher than Russias, Holland had to compete with the two WC Finalists and a very stubborn Romania.
Russia though have played well (in patches) and have done well, when needed but I certainly dont think there better than the likes of Portugal and Croatia who got knocked out of the QF.
Anyway a bit off topic but my mate but a bet on Russia (33-1) to win Euro 2008 before the tournment started, so he's desperate they bat Spain, he'll get over £300 I think.
You see, I see it a different way. I think the four best teams in Europe right now are Germany, Turkey, Russia, and Spain. If you were better than those teams, you'd be in instead of them. And I thought it was so weird that those two WC finalists played so shitty, I was expecting them to dominate and advance easily. :/

@Jace: I thought Russia played pretty good then. Sure, they started bad in their first game but then I think they got the job done with Greece, and then with Sweden as well (who was also heavily favored, right?). And yeah, I saw all of both Russia's and the Netherlands' group matches. I actually thought Russia had the tougher group too, both Italy and France played like total shit IMO (which is funny because at first glance the Dutch's group seemed like it'd be ridiculously tough to advance in).
But you said it yourself, when it mattered Holland failed. It's a shame too, wasn't this the last major tournament Van Der Sar was going to play in or something?
@Red Devil: One good performance? I thought the way they played against Sweden (they won, 2-0) was great. One thing I just don't understand is, if Russia isn't that great of a team, why are they in the final four? I agree though, I think Holland did peak too early in the tournament.
To be honest, I think we'd all agree, Holland played like shit when it really mattered. I don't think anyone of us would disagree, Russia played better and after that match they clearly deserved to win.

I don't really care for the Turkey v. Germany game, but damn the Spain v. Russia game is going to be extremely awesome IMO.

If you watched their previous matches you'd have seen that they just messed up. They thought they could use their exact same tactics again, and obviously that wouldn't work with Russia's tight defences.
I've also seen all of Russia's poul matches and I can say that they didn't play great at all. As I said, without Hidding they wouldn't have been able to do it. He did a very good job.
Germany VS Spain? Not sure, but that'd seem most likely to happen.
Russia is the better team, that's why they won, as simple as that. If the Netherlands were the better team, they would've known their same old tactics wouldn't work, and they would've not gotten their asses handed to them in extra time.
If Russia didn't play "great at all" then I wonder what you think about the way the Netherlands played. Because if the Russians played bad, then I'm assuming you must think the Dutch played like utter shit, right? They couldn't even walk in extra time! Meanwhile the Russian players seemed like they just started playing.
Here's to hoping Russia gets to the finals because after their performance against the Netherlands, I really think they deserve to be there!

Also, did anyone catch Spain and Italy? I thought it was pretty boring up until the penalty kicks (which were quite exciting for me at least).

Rofl, I love how when big teams get beat it's always "they just messed up". They got beat, and not just beat, but destroyed. The Russians were playing the entire game like they just started, the Dutch players couldn't even walk by the second extra time. They deserve their semi-final spot.
Anyway, who do you guys think will win the next games?
Germany v. Turkey: Germany
Russia v. Spain: Russia
and then, Germany v. Russia (in the final) and Russia wins it all.

Looks like those ex-commies were the ones who did the owning! Wow. They completely wiped the floor with Holland. Destroyed them. Everyone related to me is rooting for Russia (since Serbia isn't in, Russia is like the closest thing we have
) so I'm so happy! I didn't even get to see the extra time (saw a million replays though), I was at someone's party, and then my friend looked up the scores on his phone and I was like just like ! -

Tomorrow's game is going to be so good (Portugal v. Germany). I can't wait, Ronaldo v. Ballack! I'd rather have Germany win, but if Ronaldo can score some goals, it doesn't matter to me. Should be an epic game regardless of the winner.

Huge mistake by Greece's goalkeeper, there was absolutely no reason to go out like that. That said, I'm glad Russia won. I'm hoping they can top Sweden and advance with Spain!
What's everyone think about tomorrow's matches? Portugal v. Switzerland and Czech v. Turkey. I'm guessing Portugal and Czech will be the winners. These next set of matches should be quite interesting, what with all the teams fighting to survive!

Holland was great tonight, the result helps Romania to qualify, still anything could happen. I'm glad that the GA of France and Italy are below zero ...
Also Mutu, plays for Fiorentina ( Italian League ) so he may have missed the penalty on purpose but maybe I'm wrong ... 4 million euros per season or to dissapoint an entire nation, hmm tough choice for him ...
Tomorrow we have Sweden - Spain wich I expect to be an interesting match ...
Romania has to play the Netherlands, I don't get how it helps them. Even if they do rest their players, I still think they're going to beat Romania. Which (to me), means that the France v. Italy game will be extremely interesting. I'm guessing France will win. They had a bunch of good chances today against the Netherlands (especially the one with Henry when he basically just had to tap it in but ended up kicking it way over the net). Italy definitely should have won today though, their goal in the 45th clearly wasn't off-sides.
Can't wait until tomorrow's matches. Really want to watch Russia v. Greece!

Did anyone watch? I did. Really didn't care for any of the teams playing today though. Tomorrow is going to be exciting however, France v Romania and Italy v Netherlands! I'll be at school during the France game, which is really the one I want to watch out of the two. :/ Game starts for me at 11.50am so I definitely won't be at home.
It'd be awesome if we got to watch it in French class! :]

As it turns out, the only reason New Zealand also received the “watered-down” version of GTA IV was because it was simply easier for Take-Two to ship copies of one version of the game to all of Australia’s neighboring countries. Stan Calif, founder and director of First Games, was upset at that however. So upset that he went to the Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC) and submitted the original version of the game (while paying NZD$1400, or USD$1080) to have it reviewed for an R18 rating. After weeks of waiting, his efforts paid off and the uncut version of GTA IV will now be sold at First Games! Calif told Geekpulp:
First Games are proud to be able to deliver GTA IV uncut to New Zealanders. We have been committed from the outset to provide Kiwi gamers with the freedom to purchase an unaltered version of GTA IV. After much hard work and expense we are now able to deliver GTA IV in the way that Rockstar originally intended.It’s good to hear more people will now be able to enjoy and have the same experience as everyone else has with GTA IV! You can buy the game at their website, it should also be available at First Games stores.
In related news, we now know what exactly was taken out of the Australian version of GTA IV. PALGN.au reports:
... there is no way to select a ‘service’ from the prostitute. The sexual intercourse sex animation has also been completely removed, so players will only see the car bounce from a locked rear-view. In the uncut version, after selecting a service from the prostitute, players can rotate the camera to see the prostitute’s actions.Also in the Australian version, no blood pools will appear beneath a dead person after shooting or stabbing them to death. There are blood splatters, but no blood pools. In the uncut version, blood will slowly ooze out from under a body, and it is possible to create bloody footprints by walking through the blood, or bloody tyre tracks from driving through it. Finally, when Niko or other NPCs are injured in the uncut version, light blood patches appear on their bodies which basically represent bruises/bullet wounds.

Rockstar has announced that they’ll be extending the “100% Club” contest on the Rockstar Social Club another two weeks. They’ve done so to “ensure that everyone has a chance to get in on the action.” Getting 100% in the game earns you the “Key to the City” prize.

Xbox Live’s Major Nelson revealed Tuesday that GTA IV stole the top spot on the list of activity on Xbox Live the first week it was released. Obviously this was expected (by me at least), nearly half of my friends list is constantly playing the game so it really is no surprise. Below’s the full list:
