  1. Its called "skill".

Some people have it, others dont and some bitch about the game being bad which is bullshit.

TRUE :yup: . I have really never played a game on a console before. In fact this is my first time with playing a game on a console and the driving is simple and enjoyable. Rockstar didn't mess it up. Its not too realistic exeptt that I will usually get three stars for shooting a cop and a civillian, but its mad easy evading them. Great game like always, R* keep doing what you're doing.

  2. I do. I wish I pre-ordered the special edition instead of the normal, I know it doesn't change anything in-game but it just looks cool.

    Same here, looks amazing.

I got GTA IV!!! I have had a 100 - 104 fever the last 3 1/2 days, so my mom went out and bought it for me. Now I can start grinding missions and get ahead of all my friends/ all kids who attend school!

GTA IV FINALLY I GOT IT TODAY, SO DAMN EXICTED *FLIPS IN MIDAIR*. payed for at Ciruit City for $35 with AAA coupon. Sweet. Going to play maybe today(posting at 12:00 a.m). So far I know no one has it at my school. YES!1!11!111! THANK YOU :R*::R*N::clapping:

  3. Guess who's back? Back again? Jack is back; tell a friend. As expected, Jack Thompson has emerged from the underside of whatever rock he's been hiding under for the past few years, just in time to go after Grand Theft Auto IV for -- guess what? -- excessive sexual content in Grand Theft Auto IV.

As noted in a recent Ars Technica article, Wacky Jacky has an "unlikely" bit of ammo for his case against GTA IV: a video, produced by IGN, highlighting the strip clubs and prostitutes that exist in Grand Theft Auto IV. For some ungodly reason, though, IGN seems to have thought it was a good idea to make a four minute video out of it, showing Niko and his "encouters" followed by him hunting down the ladies shortly thereafter.

    From the Ars Technica article:

The embattled Florida attorney has written a letter to the US Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, R. Alexander Acosta, demanding that legal action be taken against Take Two and retailers for selling the game...

Thompson sent a copy of the letter to Ars Technica, and his demands are far-reaching. "Indictments should be returned against Take Two corporately and its Chairman, Strauss Zelnick, along with other Take Two officers. Indictment should also be against Sony and Microsoft which are making this pornographic game available to minors, and openly so, on their PS3 and Xbox systems," Thompson wrote. "Further, indictments should be handed down against Wal-Mart, Best Buy, GameStop, and all other retailers distributing this game to minors at their retail stores, openly, to kids who are only seventeen."

He then compares the game to, of all things, polio. "Grand Theft Auto IV is the gravest assault upon children in this country since polio. We now have vaccines for that virus... The 'vaccine' that must be administered by the United States government to deal with this virtual virus of violence and sexual depravity is criminal prosecutions of those who have conspired to do this. If you doubt me, look at the aforementioned streaming audio/video. It will make you sick."

While I'm certainly no fan of Jack Thompson or his ridiculous antics (and I'd love to argue the point that "innocent 17 year olds" are only a year away from being legally able to engage in such lude acts on camera for money... or in some cases, poorly-made t-shirts), it's hard to blame the man when IGN practically hands him a gift-wrapped video of inevitable controversy. Really... what the hell is IGN thinking by producing a video like this, removing all contextual elements of the game, and having Niko engage prostitutes and then hunt them down?

While it's unlikely that those in a position of authority will do much of anything in response to Jack's complaint, there's no doubt that the controversy will continue as we get further into the summer months. As usual, you can expect us to keep you updated on whatever whimsical nonsense spews forth from the great gooey geyser that is mainstream media.

    Guess this was expected right?

    Like said, IGN WTF.

Shouldn't it be our opinion if it is too graphical seems that we are the people who see it and play it? It dosen't concern him at all. Where not his kids!!!!

True he and those other anti-GTA, absurd, people should just shut up! :nope: Stop blaming GTA and the game, without violence in GTA it wouldn't be the same. Forget IGN.

  4. I don't think they will ever release IV for the PC,

    My Reasons:

    1. They made V2 of SA so you can't mod it, I think they have had enough of modding.

    2. We did not see PC versions of LCS or VCS.

    3. The requirements on it will be ridiculously demanding so sales will be crappy.

before I get moaned at, its just my opinion I may be wrong.

What do you guys think anyways?

    1. Wrong. Version 2 was made to patch the Hot Coffee feature.

    2. Even though I'm a real defender of LCS and VCS being major GTA games, they were basically side games so people could wait for GTA IV. Plus, they were PlayStation exclusives.

    3. Possibly. I can probably give you that since my own computer sucks.

Rashon. you got 1. and 2. right although I think 3.) can go either way like you said. Myself I own a Windows Vista and a XP which currently has very high settings and high cabablites. I personally would be extemely dissapointed if it didn't come out for PC. I really think the pc version is better (MY OPINION). Although I have yet to get a PS3 (saturday). To me this would be a major let down by R*. :)

  5. OK, so I'm not actually in school right now, BUT just to say TGTAP isn't blocked st my school! :clapping: I couldn't post here because I went at the end of the

period. Anyways was on youtube watching some random stuff, really bored. Sorry if this is a bump just felt important. GTA IV out tommrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Shes another one of those b*tches :pissedred: that blame Manhunt, and GTA for all the violence and crime. First she doesn't know anything about GTA, I bet she never even played it. She can shut her mouth because all she wants is attention and ruining GTA fans lifes and transforiming parents into more Jack Thompsons. When I played Manhunt I never once fought about going out and doing that shit. If she had coomon sense most of the people that ever played GTA and went and murdered someone had past problems with the way they were raised by there parents and the condition they lived in!!

  7. Doesn't even let me view it >.<

Same! I try to press enter but the button does nothing.

Thats what happened to me at first, then I refreshed the page. And it worked (entered false date of birth). Hope you get it running. Not much new info, but still amazing.

This has really gotten me hyped up.

  8. ''How would you like to die''? Playing GTA IV of course. This is guaranteed to be the best game of 08. :clapping: I going to pre-order this tommorow at a local store. Freekin sweet. Just leaves you wanting more. Seems more like a tralier that they would use on TV for ads.

  9. Jack Thompson? Thats what he is. I stuipd asshole. He should stop chassing Rockstar  and go after EA for greed and making shitty games. What does he really want o prevent violence, money or just attention. Only do we know that true GTA fans aren't going to go outside and commit countless acts of violence. He should f*ck off.

  10. (Not to get ahead before GTA IV). i think they should move away from past GTA cities and start some where else.

If Asia, then Hong Kong would be a good pick. Its near the coastline and populated. Japan is great to extremly populated and very active. There would be problems against it though. Like the langauge they speak and so on.

Europe is a good choice. And I will stick with London for so many reasons. The under-ground crime story sounds good (Total-Junk).

Going back to me saying they should start with somewhere new if not. Then Vice City is a must. A fresh bigger newly designed VC would be a tremendous job. Nightlife, and a whole drug dealing bussiness would be great. Add in cars, palm trees, women, and money. :yup: Great. With the new rage system perfect. I also think that Rockstar should work on their airports aswell.

  11. I don't use cheats at all. Once only in VC (so I could drive on water). And that was when I finished the game. Actually I never have to use cheats because I

seem to have no trouble with the storline. Except a few like Didlo Dodo or Demoltion Man those types.
