Fixed NOTHING for me, I reinstalled the game back to 1.0 as it broke more than it fixed. Had a spinning camera after the and rockstar's answer is to UNINSTALL your joypad so you can't use it in ANY game. Go figure, what a good fix that is.

looks like the start of the missing textures bug to me. play for another 15-30 minutes and see if all your road textures disappear, if they do then tough it's ONE of the known bugs in the game
