first you need a good drawing program. Photoshop would be nice, as long as you know how to use it. I just use a less expensive program that is simple, but gets the job done very well.( i would not recommed MS paint lol) next you need txd workshop, it's a program where you can add in your own work.( you can get it on this site in the downloads section) install txd workshop and once that is done, open the program up, and on the top left, select "open IMG" then search for GTA3.img, this is in: C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\models open this up and scroll down on the side untill you get to the textures of the vehicles, this is about 3/4 of the way down the list. ex. one will say : beagle.txd once you found what vehicle you want to add a paintjob to, there is a sub section on right of the list of all the dff's and txd's. go through those untill you find out what part of the vehicle you want to edit, select it, and press export twice, which is at the center top of the program, save it somewhere you want, and open it up with a painting program and do what you want to it. Just make sure you save it as a BMP. I don't think it matters if it is in the O/S or windows format (those are the options my program offers) then just open up TXD workshopo again, open up GTA3.img, and go to import. But if you also want to make your own vehicles, well then you need a program like 3D Studio Max, which is a where you can put in the models of the GTA vehicles at edit them. (go to www.gtaforums.com for more detail on this. ex. what scrpits you need ect.)

need the GTA SA user track folder
Quantum Man replied to Quantum Man's topic in GTASA Gameplay & Help
yeah, there was a song, but I have one of the games where the User track folder just doesn't work.(unless someone can figure it out while still using that user track folder, I put them in the game another way. I made a guide to it in the modding section) -
Last resort for putting in your own tracks!
Quantum Man replied to Quantum Man's topic in GTASA Modding
Thanks man, I know how confusing it can be when you just start to get into modding, or something new; So that's why I made sure that I included all the details on how to do this. (Note: the SAAT visual also allows you to put in you own sound effects. ex. replace motorcycle sounds, gun sounds ECT. Except you press all SFX instead of All stream when exporting, then it's pretty much the same process from there(except now you are dealing with the folders under the SFX folder in the SAAT Visual). But the sounds in the SFX folder are in .WAV format) -
Have you had troubles trying to put in music into your San Andreas game? Warning: before you do any of this, make sure you have tried to do everything in your power in order to get those tracks to work, make sure you look at topics on this site, and look around the web, because this takes some time. This is pretty much a last resort to putting in tracks...AND IT WORKS! 1. If you don't have an audio converter, go to: http://dspguru.doom9.org/ to download the "besweet" audio converter., ALSO DOWNLOAD WINAMP IF YOU DON'T HAVE A MEDIA PLAYER THAT SUPPORTS OGG FILES. 2. Go to: http://koppp.nm.ru/files/SAAT_visual_100.rar to download this key program. 3. Once you have everything installed, take the folder: C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas and move the entire folder to "C:\" 4. Once you moved it, rename the folder to: GTASanAndreas (no spaces). This way you now have: C:\GTASanAndreas 5. Create a folder in C:\ called: gtasaworkdirectory (Remember: NO SPACES) 6. Open up BeSweet. You will see tons of options. Look on the right side of the program and in the output box, make sure it says: Ogg Vorbis. 7. At the top of the screen, go to input and search for the mp3 you want to convert (note: when you find it, make sure you double click on it. then click OK) 8. Check the output, to make sure it's where you want it to go (probably where the original song is) Then on right side of BeSweet, click on MP3 to OGG (or whatever format the song is in) 9.rename the song to "Track_001.ogg" (you can change this to any number you want, depending on what you want to replace. (I'll get to what I'm talking about soon) 10. Open your SAAT Visual tool and specify where your GTA SA directory is(C:\GTASanAndreas), then where your work directory is(C:\gtasaworkdirectory) 11. You will see a tab that says: Export files, click it 12. At the bottom you will see a line boxing in several options, the title of the section is:"Export files", in there you will see a button that says: "All Stream", click it. A black window will show up. DO NOT CLOSE THIS WINDOW!! Wait for it to finish by itself, it will take a while. 13. Now you have all the things that have to do with the GTA SA radio in the folder you made called: C:\gtasaworkdirectory. So now, in SAAT Visual 1.0, go to the tab: Import files and click the plus on streams. You will see a list of folders starting with: AA, ADVERTS, AMBIENCE, BEATS, and so on..... 14. This step is up to you, I just replaced advertisements in the ADVERTS folder, because A. thats all you hear if you go to the user track station, B. you'll be able to hear your music on any station. C. There are multiple beginnings to songs on the other stations (ex. the host says something different for the same song at least 3 times in the beginnig, 3 or so in the middle, and 3 or so in the end. So it's just less of a struggle if you replace in the ADVERTS folder. (You may as well still keep some of the ads, it'll make the user station more like a real one, and so you can still have ads on the regular stations) 15. Expand the ADVERTS folder, select the ad you want to replace(you can listen to the ad if you want by pressing open file on your right. Then press "Repace file" (this guy has bad spelling). Find the OGG you made earlier (if you have to, rename it to the ad you are replacing). 16. Once you have selected the song, closer to the bottom of the SAAT Visual, press "import this", you will see a black window again, it will close soon. Once it closes, exit the program. (Repeat steps 6-9, and 13-16 if you want to put more songs on) ( also: you can put back your GTA folder to its original place in the rockstar folder, and you can rename it as well, just make sure you put it directly back into C:\, and rename it without spaces if you are going to put more songs in) YOU ARE NOW DONE, MAKE SURE YOU PUT IN MORE THEN ONE SONG BEFORE YOU SEE IF THE FIRST ONE WORKED OUT RIGHT, BECAUSE THERE IS A 1 IN 69 CHANCE YOU'LL HEAR IT RIGHT AWAY. LOL Quantum Man has created this guide Contact: [email protected] I hope this gets pinned... (Wink, wink)

I uninstalled my GTA SA game because mods were screwing up my game, and I deleted the folder that goes in my documents that you put your own music into (I think it's called GTA SA user folder, or something like that). I thought that when I would reinstall the game, it would put the folder back in, but I guess I deleted the only one it had . So could someone please put a download for the Version1 gta sa user folder that goes in my documents.( or is there a site with it?) --------------------------------------- whops, I found it finally, but I can't get it to work on my game, meh.

I downloaded a bigbob mod where the backend is always open so you can just drive the cars in, where did you download yours?
-
I hate that every time you download mods that require you to replace the main.scm, you have to start a new game. So is there a trainer you can get that literally gives you 100% completion, and not just gives you the tank and hydra and some new spawning locations for weapons. ex: this trainer would actually make it so the game knows that missions are completed, so you would be able to go into ammunation and be able to get all the weapons as soon as you use the trainer, and if it were to be 100%, that would mean you would be fireproof, you would have more health, you wouldn't run out of breath. So pretty much just a trainer that would make your game complete.

k, I'll try both, but Righty; are you sure that your way just doesn't put in a sound from another bike that is already in the game? I coyld just make it sound like the freeway if this website doesn't have what I need.

I downloaded a HD Fatboy for SA, and it replaces the wayfarer, everyone knows that fatboys don't sound like that lol. So they added in real Fatboy sounds to replace the wayfarer ones. But it says I need a tool called: "SAAT Visual 1.0 by Koppp".. I googled it and I don't know where to get it, can someone help????

oh yeah, it was on gtagarage.com

I have actually found a really good spider-man mod before, I don't remember where I got it, I could post it on here, but I don't know if people would want me to do that. Or I could just post the email of the guy who made it..

I now have 3Ds Max, I watched a tutorial on it for making a bmx, but i can't figure out how the guy got reference pictures of bike bike to use on the side view(the pics were blue and black, called bike_side.jpg, it is about 2 minutes into the second video) this tutorial is on the gtaforums site

I've kind of been doing some editing for txd's for SA, what program do you use for editing dff's. it's called "3D studio max" or something like that
-
I've never used any of those type of mods before, but I remember that when I would go into the wardrobe and try to get the biker boots, the game did the same thing, then I tried to replace many things that I had modded back to the original and it still didn't work! So in the end I saved some stuff of mine that I knew worked and didn't screw up my game. and I uninstalled it, then reinstalled it and everything worked fine. Maybe you need to do the same, and then try.

Here is the direct link to the bigfoot download http://icemodder.webarrivo.com/index.php?n...etit&lid=11 There are four of them, and the yeti is an easter egg that you have to find. Also, these are not replacements for peds. Enjoy!

yeah But when I go to save the bmp, it asks in what format: windows bitmap or OS/2
-
which is best to use for GTA SA when making clothes ect: saving in OS/2 or Windows Bitmap? (which is better)
-
does anyone know the email of that "ClintR" guy that made that sweet 01 CR for vice city? Or does anybody know of anyone with the TALENT to make this bike?!!??and wouldn't f*** up on the colours, graphics, handlebars, engine, ect.??
-
Thanks for telling me that, I already know how to install mods like that, but I wasn't sure about the whole "italian.gxt" thing.
-
I replaced the biker boots with the original ones and now it works good. But now the boots look weird, they look brown with some kind of picture on them. Also, when I do the burglar missions, the game randomly crashes, if I were to go intro a house, then exit, then go back in, there is a chanse that it will crash. what could be the problem?
-
At first when I would go and play my game not to long ago, when I would try to use certain things, the game would crash when I selected them! ect. I went into the wardrobe and tried to get the biker boots, then when I selected them the game crashed. Just now, I installed 2 weapons and I went into my wardrobe to get the aviatior glasses, when I did so, the game of course crashed. So I just after that, I started the game again and went into the same safehouse I was just in, and the game crashed as soon as I entered, so it couldn't be the glasses fault?!? I didn't do anything from after the game crashed from the glasses. Do I have to reinstall the game? I think I fixed the aviator and door entering problem, because I uninstalled a mod that allows you to enter all places that have been locked off. eg area 51. But the boots still crash the game
-
I guess it doesn't really matter if I play it in Italian, I just want it to work. So can someone put the translated part of the Italian.gxt on here?.. Thaat is, if that's what you have to do.
