Yeah, dont you like cricket or tennis or something? We used to play tennis on a hard court and play cricket on the astro turf. For football we played on the field, these were the only sports I truly enjoyed playing at school.

I used to hate PE at school except for when we done football or cricket or tennis. Other than that everything about it was crap especially athletics, everything about that was crap, I never skipped PE only one year where my timetable was built so that I have PE first two hours on a Tuesday morning, I just use to wake up late and come to school at 11. Never got in trouble with it as well.

Well, can you love and have faith in God without going to church? This doesn't mean that you shouldn't go to church to love and have faith in god.My comment was meant to say you bond with your family on other days there does not have to be a specific day where you do this like Christmas (although I do understand people see distant family during Christmas). Its like Valentines day you shouldn't just be extra nice to your partner because of this day. And stuff like Fathers and Mothers day, where you should be extra nice on these days, Im just saying this should happen on ALL days (or near enough to all days).

Can I just ask out of all the people who claim they are atheists, how many of you celebrate Christmas?
Just a topic that got me thinking after I watched something on TV.
I can't stand whats happening to Christmas now. Last year they interviewed children to ask them about what Christmas is about. Most had no idea "Santa" and "Presents" where the main answers. One stupid child said it was the day Jesus died. Its just so superficial now and has none of the original meaning. Its all about getting things.
Agree with you there, its just got too commercial and is a way of making money now. Now it's even becoming X-Mas
Kids are stupid these days though, most of them don't know what an onion is.I see Christmas as a way to bond with family and even though I'm not a Christian, I still have a respect for a man who stood up against a big, powerful religion to stick with his beliefs up until death, even if they are complete bullshit.
Are you saying you dont bond with your family on other days? I know for most people Christmas is about spending time with family etc. but I am pretty sure you could bond with your family on other days?

I find it annoying when these women sue places for not hiring them for job. There was one women who lost her business which was a hairdressers because she didn't hire this woman who wore a Burkha. She said when people get their hair done they like to see their hairdressers hair and faces as its a very sociable job so she didn't hire her. So she was sued and lost her business which is so unfair.Notice the word 'these', specifically referring to that specific group and then look at the word 'one women', you will find it is stereotyping.

The keyword there is WHEN, not THESE. She finds it annoying WHEN they sue, this does not insist that they all do it, or that even most of them do. Hell, even if it was only ever the one lady, her statement still stands.

I might go and see that this weekend, or Transformers 2, but I heard that flopped.
Depends what type of movie-goer you are. I'm usually a "good story" movie type of guy, but Transformers 2's epic CGI scenes just made me not give a shit about its retarted story. It is like an orgasm on your eyes.
Might see Public enemies, dont like a film with a crap story to it, plus Public Enemies is based on real events that actually happened and I kinda like these types of films, like the aviator, zodiac etc.

Don't hate families that are not together, some are very happy that way. I love that it is just me and Mum.
Don't hate them, probably don't even dislike them, I just don't like seeing families like that for some reason. I've seen some pretty messed up and hurt people because their mother/father left when they were young or have a different partner.

The keyword there making not a stereotyping statement is WHEN THESE WOMEN SUE. She never said she finds those women annoying because they sue. Then she goes on to give an example of a time in which it happened, possibly as "proof" that it does happen, or just as conversation. Who knows.

Nope, not what I was saying. If you notice, I never said most Christians do it. I said, and I quote, more than every other Christian that I come across say the same things. Again, must I point out keywords, "THAT I COME ACROSS". Meaning my statements only applied to those I have met, or talked to.And even the ones who don't try to convert me, still tell me I'm stupid, ignorant, blind, etc. and I'm going to hell and they hope I enjoy it there. I'm sorry, most Christians do not practice what they preach.

One of the few things I didn't like about the Dark Knight was that it didn't keep one of the original actors on, I forgot the name now but it was Batmans childhood friend. Played by two different people on both films.

Basically I belive theres two type of religious people,
The first are people who try to force their beliefs/opinions on others whereas others just accept their beliefs and don't interfere with what others belive.
What your trying to say is that mostly every Christian forces opinions on others, but that ain't true of course you do get the extreme people link Osama Bin Laden etc. But most religious people I have met don't try to get you to believe what they believe, they might tell you what there religion is about for understanding purposes but I haven't met anyone (yet) who has tried to influence their religion on me.

Spiderman 2 was the best, Spiderman 3 was pathetic, they completely wasted the idea of the dark spiderman.
The best film out now must be The Hangover, one of the funniest films i've seen in a very long time, hugely dissapointed in Terminator though.
Yeah, spiderman2's the best, the 3rd one was too slow.
Didn't really like Terminator Salvation, the ones with Arnold Swuznigga in it were the best.
Completely agree, firs tthree Terminators were great, everything about them was great but everything was just wrong about T4, they had a British actor playing John Connor which was wrong for me, they should have got back the original John Connor from T3

I probably said it in the wrong way, my school didn't have a tennis court we just played on a hard court (like the US Open) we actually played in the gym (which was used for multiple purposes like basketball etc) but the gym did have all the court marking on them etc and was the proper size.
