supernom Posted April 8, 2007 Share Posted April 8, 2007 Hi there I tried to get some new car mods for GTA SA , but whenever I am in the game and get within range of one of the new cars my computer freezes. I have tried it with about 3 different cars but they all freeze so I assume it is not the mod that is the problem. How I tried it is a Bullet car in my garage and replaced the bullet files so I know where to find the car, and it freezes when I get near to the garage. MrLlamaLlama Posted April 8, 2007 Share Posted April 8, 2007 Tip: don't have the car in your garage then... This will cause the game to crash. Uninstall the mod, remove the car from your garage, then reinstall. If you really wanna see the car bad, use a car spawner. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Gerard Posted April 8, 2007 Share Posted April 8, 2007 That wouldn't be the problem. If it crashes as soon as it tries to load the car, it means there's a problem with it. Have you installed both the DFF and the TXD files? If there's something missing, then it won't throw up a nice error message, it'll just crash. MrLlamaLlama Posted April 8, 2007 Share Posted April 8, 2007 But this happened to me a couple of times... and i just re-started the game, being too lazy to do the long winded thing, besides, i have a like 3% save file just to check if my mods have worked, and the cars that were in the garage thaty made the game crash appear fine... so... So how many mods do you have on your gta sa? I can mod mine even the v2 gta sa i got pics Tip: don't have the car in your garage then... This will cause the game to crash.
