AntiVirus ------------------------ Virus detected on Kewlbuttons.ocx, however, at first, i thought it was my vb project, then i went to run ultimate editor Run time error! Kewlbuttons.ocx is not properly registered or a file is missing, ----------------------------- Is this a false? or a real virus? Chris Posted October 25, 2007 Share Posted October 25, 2007 Well if you've always used it with no problems and now you suddenly get this error it sort of suggests the virus came from elsewhere. That, or your anti virus program is reporting a trainer as a keylogger which often happens since trainers naturally monitor your keypresses, usually anyway. AVG has flagged several trainer type GTA tools/utilities on my machine as well, I think it looks for types of code that are also used in the trainers. I don't rely much on trainers so it's no big deal for me, but some of the other members have got around this issue. They'll probably have suggestions as they see this.
