ParticleX
I reinstalled San Andreas (because my pc has a virus so i reformatted). I fiddled with the settings and i accidentaly clicked on the russian (or whatever) language. is there a way to replace the language file easily (so it becomes usable)? thanks in advance. OK, I dunno, but, when you start the game, select Options (the second item in the main menu). There should be some text such as "Русский" in the options menu... Select it and you can now revert to the English language setting... If in doubt, you might as well delete the .set file found in your SA user folder (you can find this in "My Documents"). I don't know the exact name of the file, but it has a .set extension, and this might solve your problems... Urbanoutlaw
If you know what language you're in, go into the TEXT folder of DATA, move it into a temp folder (just make a new folder) & rename AMERICAN.GXT to that language (also copy that one to the temp folder first). Urbanoutlaw
Since it's a recent re-install, just uninstall, defrag & install again. This is probably the easiest way to fix your problem.
