I am having trouble with Save files. . .

I am having problems with getting save files to work. I have tried quite a few and none have worked. I have installed them into my user folder--one at a time--and then start the game. Nothing! The game starts right at the beginning at the airport terminal. Grrrrrrr. I have not had this kind of problem with GTA3 or Vice City.

Can someone please tell me why these files aren't working? I am getting bald patches from pulling my hair out. haha

Make sure you're using the same version saves as the files you're trying to install.

Hmmm. I guess I won't be able to know that unless those posting these files specify what version. . . Am I correct?

. . .okay. I rechecked a file against the game and both are v.1 and still the same results.

Make sure they're in My documents \ GTA San Andreas... and make sure they say 'gtasf1.b' or something.

That is where they are and already made sure they were .b's. :'(

I think you both files: gta_sa.set & GTASAsf1.b I'm sure though (never used a save file from someone else) but you might need both from a dwl and not mix and match. Also not sure what all four files in the User Files are for but also check on the two dat files: sa-ufiles & sa-utrax.
