Go to Start Menu>Run, Type regedit in the box that pops up 2. Go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Windows" 3. Make a backup of the file you re going to edit 4. Change the value of "CSDVersion" from "0x00000200" (SP2) to the Windows XP SP3 value of "0x00000300" 5. Close regedit 6. Restart your system 7. Open Gta 8. ????????? 9. Profit. However, if you google it, you can proly find a link to SP3 that you can dld independently outside of going through your browser, say if you're using Opera/Firefox etc .. cuz those wont register w/ MS's update site ofcourse ... Right click on LaunchGTA Properties>Compatibility Tick "Run this game in...mode" and select Windows 2000. Of topic: Where did you get the game from?
