SA is broken

I loaded up GTA, loaded my save on "Intensive Care" and it crashed. I tried it again but it happened again.....

I spent almost 24 hours just to get there.....

Have you applied any modifications to the game since you last played?

Yeah, some car mods but I'll try to remove them.

Ah, yeah. That'd be the issue. Most mods are easily removed providing you backed up the original files. If you don't have backups, you can always try installing a different vehicle over the same vehicle that is causing your game to lock up. All the best. Keep me posted.

After removing the mods for the Rustler, Hydra, and Maverick it works now.

Yeah as Earthbound said, one of the most important thing you need to be careful about when moding your game is that take a back-up of all important files(Mostly the ones which you alter).Thus, this will help you when something goes wrong and saves you the hassle of re-installing the whole game.Just replace them from the back-up.

It ruined every save and the new game option didn't work either.

The problem does not lie with the save, but the game. If you haven't installed the mod properly or the mod files are inappropriate/corrupted, your game will crash either at the load screen or whenever the game has to load the modded car. Once the faulty mod is removed, your save will work as before.
