I have all visual specs on min, 30 view distance 30 detail distance 14 car density 0 shadow density. I am using a pc with 2.6ghx dual core amp cpu 512mb nvidia 8500GT 5.5gb ddr2 ram. Windows vista ultimate 64bit What can I do to get more fps (preferably 30+) I have gone to nvidia control panel and made the max pre-rendered frames 8. WRX22B1998 Posted May 23, 2009 Share Posted May 23, 2009 (edited) upgrade your video card. 8500 isnt really meant for gaming. at a shop in sydney u can get 9600gt for $125, 9800gt for $150, aTi 4850 $210 i know its a really obvious answer...but that'll give you the biggest gain in fps. just noticed ur from NZ not aus, sorry lol. im sure theres many shops that sell the same video cards there.
