macorules94
Ok, the mic hole/line in hole has NEVER worked, and it's annoying having to use my old computer with XP to record something everytime. Anyone know how to fix it? If i plug something in, it doesn't come up in "recording devices" Do i need to install the driver or something
WRX22B1998
what do you mean it doesnt work ? plug something in start playing sound, then go to the volume control, and unmute mic and increase volume and ... thats it. i was about to say maybe they havent wired the front panel up but you're using a laptop so idn Edited June 23, 2009 by WRX22B1998
macorules94
How do you unmute it? Vista the piece of shit has no volume control where you can choose the source, like XP. its just for the speakers. And if you click options, the only thing you can change it to is for extra speakers. macorules94
Look at this: It means that the Line in/Mic hole, has no jack for it, when it does. Bloody hell Vista is Fucked
WRX22B1998
o.0 epic fail on the part of vista lol. that seems like, it has a mic, but doesnt wanna use that jack for it ahahha. umm only thing i could think of (apart from going back to XP) , try reinstall sound drivers. WRX22B1998
if you got another computer that came with a xp disc use that? if you're really desperate to record on that computer. but before you do that, write down all the hardware in your laptop and download drivers onto a USB or something...
