Scott. 16 Posted December 2, 2009 Right, so I dropped my dead xbox off to UPS on friday. It arrived in Germany 17 hours ago, yesterday evening. I have just checked the xbox tracking site thing, and it says my xbox has been repaired and shipped back to me... Is it normal for an xbox with the RROD to be repaired that quickly??? Scott. 16 Posted December 2, 2009 Sweet, I was just wondering. because with things I have seen on the internet, microsoft are infamous for being notoriously slow with their xbox 360 repairs, with people waiting for months to receive their 360 back. Whereas mine was dropped off on Friday and its been repaired by Wednesday seems quite unusual .
Chris 246 Posted December 2, 2009 Yeah I had mine back within 2 weeks I think, back when they were trying to improve their turnaround times for being slow... all they do is replace the motherboard though. You'll find out exactly because they tell you what they did.
