Next Generation of Console discussion

The Xbox 360, PS3, Wii(seventh generation of consoles) started on 2005 with the xbox 360.

I read that Sony is starting to work on the PS4, not sure about Microsoft with the next xbox or the Next Nintendo(I read somewhere also that Intel is trying to make Nintendo use Larrabee in there next console).

What would you like to see in the next consoles?

I don't think the next consoles will be out until 2012 or 2013. 2015 at the latest.

The last generation(PS2,XBOX,GC) will end on 2011 or 2012 when the PS2's support is stopped.

Well of course they all are. I seriously doubt Microsoft or Nintendo would only spend the next 2 years developing their next console. Chances are they've been planning and developing it since they released their most recent console.

It's like GTA, as soon as the latest one is released, work starts, or has already started, on the follow-up. Same with COD as well. It's still a way away, at least 5 years or more, for a new PS. A new 360 might come out within 3 years, a new Wii about the same.
