WRX22B1998
this error is either a bad mod, or something wrong with your savefile see this topic http://www.thegtaplace.com/forums/topic/24833-gta-iv-fatal-error-smpa60/
gtamodguy
I installed GTA 4 and when I tried to play, it took a long time to start and a command prompt popped up. Then at the end it said GTA IV:FATAL ERROR. I thought I might have done something wrong like edit the executable. Whenever I tried to play that happened. This reminded me of the GTA III and GTA VC "Unhandled Exception" problem. I tried to install it on my desktop computer[before it was on my brand new laptop]. It never even recognized the disk. The little disk kept popping up by the cursor. It just flashed like every 5 seconds. I heard it spinning but it never played. Hopefully, I will eventually fix this and be able to download and play GTA 4 with the rest of the GTA 4 mod world. Mainly because I want to drift, use the super spawner, and drive the worlds fastest cars in GTA 4.
