Are My Modded Cars Spawning?

i need help, im adding cars into the game, but i wasnt sure if they were coming into the game due to whether i could see the normal cars ingame yet due to my current position in the game, so i changed the cars it would change, first question is this possible to do purely on SAMI? or does it have some sort of knock on effect.

and second, after finding a car, storing it in my garage, then saving, then changing the car, i opened my garage to find the car changed, then millions of them spawned, however i cant seem to find one purely on coming accross it and i have a fair amount of cars ingame,

find the car you want to mod/replace, put it into your garage then save,exit.Then you Put the modded car into the game and replace it with the car in your garage. Or you find a map showing all the car location and go hunt your car down.
