insamoufonyx Posted June 19, 2006 Share Posted June 19, 2006 I think im doign it all correctly, im adding the .dff and .txd files to the GTA3.img file, and then im adding the lines told to in the readme's into handling.cfg and vechiles.ide and sometimes carmods.dat for some cars, but when i load the game nothing hass changed at all, am i missing somthing obvious is there somthing else i ahve to do first? The Driver Posted June 19, 2006 Share Posted June 19, 2006 Yeah, you must do what Harlen said, and label the .txd and .dff exactly the same as the vehicle you just deleted from the list. For example, if you were to replace the taxi, delete taxi.dff and taxi.txd, then put the download in as taxi.dff ant taxi.txd. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Driver Posted July 3, 2006 Share Posted July 3, 2006 Download IMG Tool, then download the vehicle file from the internet, then name that file exactly the same as it would appear in the IMG list, for example, nrg500.txd and nrg500.dff should be replaced with the mod, and changed to the same name. You should ALWAYS create a backup of the original file from the game, in case the mod doesn't work or is unsatisfactory. Any problems? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I Have the same problem, i also tried delteing the other files instead of replacing them, it when i've added it all in, copied and pasted all the codes bit in the vehicles handelin etc files, i've done all that correctly then i play the game try to load up my game, and it just crashes half way through the loading screen, why is this ? what is going on ?
