Sound Problem.

I downloaded Direct X 9.0c. I tested out my sound via dxdiag, and it said that the sound card only supports software buffer. When I play the game, there's no sound. The sound's fine with other games, like Max Payne 2. Do I need a new sound card, then? BTW, I don't have any speakers, I use a laptop.

I got it about a year ago. It's a Dell Latitude C640 and has Intel ® Integrated Audio . I played the Max Payne 2 demo, and it can run it at the highest settings with 800 by 600 by 32 resolution and no AA. The sound is fine aswell. It's just Vice City that seems messed up in terms of sound.
