So, I have like 8 vehicles parked outside my safehouse. A bunch of fast cars, I don't know their names because I don't care that much. But they are like the Porsche, Ferarri, Vette and Viper. But one the other vehicles I parked out there was the cab of the 18 wheeler. I would choose this over anything else in a heartbeat. You can plow through shit for seriously 2 hours and the thing is barely smoking. Takes a while to get going but when you get to absolutely destroy a Police barricade it makes you feel good : ). So what is your favorite vehicle to rip around in? Also, I wanted to see if this happens for anyone else. When I do take out the race cars, if I completely destroy the front end, park in front, go in and save the game. Next time I turn on my PS3 and come outside, all my cars are fixed. I'm not complaining, just wondering what was up with that!?

That is just a creepy ass question to ask anyway. Why the hell would you want children to be in the game? eww

THE DRIVING IS JUST FINE. I WAS HAVING PROBLEMS WHEN I WAS USING THE OVERHEAD VIEW BEACAUSE THE CAMERA KINDA SWAYED AROUND AND TRIED TO AUTOMATICALLY ADJUST. I DIDN'T LIKE THIS FEATURE AND I KNOW USE THE 1ST PERSON MODE WHILE DRIVING. NOW IT IS LIKE TRULY BEING IN A CARE. ONCE YOU GET THE HANG OF IT, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT. GETTING AWAY FROM THE COPS EVEN WITH 3 STARS IS POSSIBLE WITHOUT WRECKING YOUR CAR. IF ANY OF THESE DOUBTS PEOPLE WHO HAVEN'T BOUGHT THE GAME YET ARE EXPERIENCING ARE IN ANYWAY RELATED TO PREVIOUS POSTS, I REALLY WANT TO SAY THAT ONCE YOU ARE ACCUSTOMED TO THE DRIVING - SHIT IS AWESOME. GO BUY THE FUCKEN GAME RIGHT NOW

seems like every post on any game forum always has to end up in PS3 vs 360. Let it go. you have what you have b/c you chose it. no one on either side needs to be ridiculed for their choice. stfu. the game is worth buying a next gen system for. Plus there are a ton of other great games available for both systems as well. Go buy it

After playing the game for a good 8 hours since my last post, I have become quite used to the driving. I find it very manageable when you are in First Person mode, or looking through the windshield. This helped me immensely and I am taking turns just fine. As for the brightness, I know some people have posted they are using 1080P HDMI connection (so am I) but I still found it helpful to use the in game settings to increase the brightness and touch up the contrast. Game looks great, feels great.

You told me I suck and can't play the game. I believe you started the insults but I guess your right. Victory is your's Doesn't change the fact that driving in GTA4 sucks compared to SA or VC.

You are right sir. Worldwide I'd be curious to see what the numbers are for both consoles. I bet it is much closer than you would think. Sony and Microsoft both made deals with R*. As for the controls in that PDF, that is the stock photos sent by both companies. That PS3 controller is in the pamphlet of every game. Not sure with that Xbox controller, but I think you are reading too far into this.

The driving i'm sure will be fine, it was just an initial dissapointment that they changed the physics for one of the bests parts of the game. Games EVOLVE, core GTA fans are sick and tired of the mindless driving of the previous installments. Sorry... I didn't realize you were the spokesman for the GTA core. Does that come with a nice salary or just a lack of a life and girlfriend?

All in all I am pleased, as with anything, things could be better. But the good absolutely outweighs the bad. Fun game

I hope that is the case. Tonight will be the first night I am really going to be able to sit and play for a few hours straight, so we'll see how it goes. I am not putting down the whole game at all. The graphics are phenomenal and the city is so expansive and intricately designed. I am not sure how mods work, but if there ever is one down the line I would be wishing for better handling and lighting. The new controls and camera angles I will get used to. I have no doubt I will enjoy this game but its just like anything else... you get used to how things are and then when it changes, it is a frustrating process to go through. ie the lame quarterback view and throw in madden quake 4 being slow as piss compared to q3 tiger woods 08 putting is for the birds james bond multiplayer is horrible and hard to look at anything Game is still good so anyone on the fence about buying it, I say absolutely buy one today. The game engine is great and R* can only make things better as we go forward.

I think you are 100% right. The lighting drives me absolutely nuts. I have adjusted my TV and pulled my shades, and it is still difficult to see where the hell I am going. To make matters worse, the cars we are driving handle like a school bus. To stay on the road or corner hard or even quickly spin around is near impossible. I hate the driving in this game, I hate how when you are trying to steer under the already impossible conditions, you are actually adjusting the camera angle. So now its dark as hell, my car is fish tailing from lane to lane, the camera angle is a close up of my rear bumper and apparently in my blind driving I have ran over a cop and my wanted level is up. The driving was superb in the all the previous installments... was the funnest part of the game. Ripping down the roads on bike or a fast car. Now you have to obey the laws or you will trash your car or mow down a pack of pedestrians. The steering is otroscious and lighting is lacking. ALSO THERE ARE TOO MANY COPS. WTF is up with this.. seems like every time I jack a car, my wanted level is immediately at 1*. Not too mention, all the praisers of the game talk of the realism. How is this for realism.. I get a wanted level so I tear ass down the road trying to get out of the 'cop circle'. I am not exaggerating when I say that my car looks like it is being piloted by a drunken blind man who is currently steering with feet. But somehow... I manage to escape the cops view and all of a sudden I am good to go. Unfortunately I couldn't look back at the cop, but if he could not keep up with me I can only imagine how bad he was driving. Aside from these issues, the game seems fantastic. I am only 11% into the game so hopefully I will master the camera angle and driving skills. Time will tell - but I just wanted to say how much I agreed with you and I was a little disapointed from the first time I drove Roman's car and I ran into oncoming traffic. I became lodged against this car who wouldnt stop honking at me and I couldnt for the life of me figure out what the f**k reverse was. Needless to say, Roman was done talking by the time I pushed the car out my way and finally started off towards his "mansion". GAME IS STILL COOL, CAN'T WAIT TO TRY THE MULTIPLAYER

Hi. This may sound stupid but it is irritating me. I got the game Tuesday night and its pretty sweet. My problem is I want to play online and I can't even find the option for it. When I turn on my PS3 it just loads my game. If I press start I don't see anything about multiplayer. It says in the guidebook to go to Rockstar.com but I am at work and that site is blocked. Hoping someone here could please tell me what I am missing. Thanks!
