  1. Now, don't get me wrong. I don't want to start anything bad. But yeah, I said, "Fuck Blu-ray." How exactly is it needed? Why, so we could watch a movie in HD? Big whoop, DVDs look fine on my 52-inch RCA front-projection HDTV. I really don't want to see every sweat drop in "glorious" high definition. I'm sorry, if a movie needs to be in HD to look good, it's not worth it.

Oh, and to be on topic, I'm guessing a June 2009 release date for the PC version.

It's need because DVD's look like trash on my HDTV. I'd show you comparison pictures of Casino Royal in Blu-Ray and in DVD, but I don't think a camera phone would really show the difference. If you need MANY more reasons, go to any one of the many websites dedicated to both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD. (And I would also like to not argue on the matter, so lets just leave it at that shall we? You don't need it, and I do.)

And those are exactly my thoughts on when a PC version of the game could be released.

  2. A DVD wont hold GTA4 dude. How can a DVD hold 50 gigs? It cant.

Dude, fuck Blu-ray. San Andreas takes up only 3GB and Oblivion takes up 6GB.

Blu-ray isn't all that great, man.

Fuck Blu-Ray? Why? It's needed. All of my DVD's look like trash on my HDTV. My Blu-Ray movies look amazing. GTA IV may not be 50GB's, Oblivion may not be 50GB's, but Pirates Of The Caribbean is 50+GB's. (It uses two disks.) And yes, its awesome, better than HD-DVD at least. :)

Anyway, I think we all know GTA IV is coming to the PC.

  3. If I were you just send it to MS, even if its sort of half working for you. They will probably fix it for you, but a little advice scratch the bottom or put your post code on the 360 before you send it in, so when you get it back you know if you got your old one or a totally brand new one.

Thats not needed. Each Xbox 360 has a "manufactures date" written on the back of the console, it'd be a different console if you have a different date. You could also just write the serial number.

  4. The fall update last year killed my Xbox 360. I just talked to them on the phone, and since my original Xbox 360 was made in 2005, they fixed it free of charge! And by "fixed it", I mean I sent them mine and they gave me a refurbished one. Now my console and my hard drive don't match! :( But ever since they gave me that new console, no update, has ever done shit to my console. Nor has it frozen once. :)

Just send it in, and get a new one so you don't have to worry about it freezing again.

  5. My logic makes perfect sense. Sorry, guess the PC gaming scene is a bit bigger than I though. Never mind. Maybe they will make it. But I don't think it matters what we think anyways. It comes down to if R* wants to and if they have the cash. I'm sure they will after all of the money they make from the release of the console versions.

More like if Microsoft wants them to and if Microsoft has the cash amirite? :P

  6. Why is PC release later? Game is made on PC and they release PC version when console ones are done O.o.

The game is being made specially for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Plus, Microsoft would rather get all the money they can get from the Xbox 360 version of the game, after that, they'll release it on the PC and get even more golds. :)

  7. Music: Guns N' Roses, The Smashing Pumpkins, They Might Be Giants, The Flaming Lips, Beck, Foo Fighters, Rage Against The Machine, POLYSICS, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ted Nugent, DragonForce, Nine Inch Nails, John Mayer, Velvet Revolver. My music verys, from hard rock, to alternative rock, to J-Rock, to pissed-off rock, to hippie-jam-bands.

Clothing: The majority of my clothing usually has a band name, or logo on it. I also have a few different shirts, some weird button up ones that look awesome, some collar shirts, and I usually wear a white undershirt on all of my shirts as chris82 stated he does. Dunno' why. For pants, pretty much all of my pants are jeans, that's it. I have a few different pants, some bright-ass corduroys (they're so warm :D), etc. DC shoes are awesome, I don't skate, but they look nice and are VERY comfortable. They're also nice for when I try to skate and fail horribly too.

Hobbies: Gaming, Making Websites, Designing Websites, PhotoShop CS3, Soccer, Some Television (not much though), Hangin' Out With My Friends, Watching Anime (as long as its awesome like Death Note, Case Closed, etc.), Death Note, Going To Concerts, Kicking Ass.

    ------

I don't hang out with one type of group to be honest. I'm fine with hanging out with just about anyone as long as they're cool. :D (I tend to hang out with people who like the bands I like though.)

  8. Releasing the game in 2008 would be completely ridiculous. The Xbox 360 version of the game has downloadable content that will be out in the second half of '08, now why would Microsoft release GTA IV on the PC if they haven't gotten each possible sale on the 360 version and the 360's downloadable content?

The game would probably be released on the PC around June 2009. Plus, by then Microsoft could make it Vista only. So meh.

  9. I have finally found my source to my earlier claim. In the August 2006 issue of OXM, page 87, reads as follows:
...As for Sony fans who think the PS3 version will be magically superior because Blu-ray's larger disc capacity can theoretically enable higher-quality textures with the extra disc space, they might be surprised to learn that the colossal San Andreas was a mere 3GB on Xbox, while 360's mammoth Oblivion filled less than 6GB on the 9GB available on the DVD.

I doubt ANY of what I'm about to say really matters, but to install San Andreas on a PC, it takes 3.6GB. So I'm guessing the game is about 3.6GB right?
