I think music with soul may have many different meanings for people.
I don't like Dragonforce, just not my thing I don't like MCR aswell. Why? To me (don't start bitching, I'm expressing MY opinion not establishing my opinions as rules):
Dragonforce:
Sound cheesy, un interesting and way too over rated. I haven't heard all of their songs, but I've heard a few. And to me, Dragonforce are to heavy metal what Staind, POD, Nickelback, Creed are to modern rock.
MCR:
Sound typical. End. Nothing refreshing or fun comes out of there.
I don't question these musicians commitment or passion to their music though. If they live and die for their music I don't think they should stop doing what they do, but I won't buy their records for sure.

Depends of the person imo.
If you like her or him enough, she/ he does too, you have some awesome times together, yeah I'd say thats good.
But if its like, being in a relationship just to show it off around, "I haz gf", have stupid myspace status messages etc. I'd say it's not even worth it. I've seen a few people around that are like this (not in this site particularly)

True, but I prefer Nick's punk atitude. And Nick's music, may not be funky as hell, and may be all about getting high and wife beating, and pcoming in girls mouths in highschool dances but I prefer his shit.
I never fucking said Nick was the most awesome bass player ever, there's obviously far better. But Nick is mostly influenced by punk, hardcore one, so it's probably his choice not to wank the shit out of his bass.
And yes, Snow is an over played Radio tune.

Check out some of Hendrix's stuff, it can be slow and all but it's much better than those Dragonforce fags that are all about insanely fast playing and using a shitload of effects.....
Loads of effects can be good, used in a good way, not by people who wank the shit out of their guitars while singing 9th grade girl lyrics= Dragonforce.
