Lets see. Got married three months ago, moved into the desert around a year and a half ago. Working two jobs just to get 40 hrs in a week to pay bills etc. Going to school starting next fall for auto tech. And that's about it. Moved out of the ghetto as well

The Bethesda RPGs are very different from those.
Any of the 2 latest Fallouts or Elder Scrolls would be a great introduction to the genre.

Are the batman games cool for people who aren't really into the comics/ movies?
Anyway, playing Fifa 12 aswell, trying to get Nottingham Forest back into their glory days.
When I started playing I wasn't a huge Batman fan and I sitll loved it. They are just fantastic games, hell, the predator stealth sequences are so much fun. Oh and it'll make you a batman fan, probably.

Used the PS3 since it came out. This year I had enough of it, got rid of it and its games and got a good deal on a 360, which I'm loving.

I found like 97% of the Riddler secrets along the story, then spent a few good hours (over 48 / 2 days together) trying to find the remaining 3%
What difficulty did you play on? I played it in Normal and found it way too easy. I'm only doing the riddler challenges now, I did the same in the last game (story first, challenges after).

Still, I wonder what they mean by "most ambitious GTA".
I reckon that means it'll be more than a mere next gen treatment of SA/ Los Santos. I have no idea what more they could do to step up the game (except for having the entire SA state, but I guess that's is PROBABLY out of the table).

I lolled actually, the second reply mentioned tattoing the Tool eye, I've had the same idea. In fact I've once thought about the eye spiral from the Lateralus vynil would make a badass tattoo. If I got that I'd also get

Batman Arkham Asylum. Completed the main story (tragic ending), and am now on the hunt for all of the Riddler challenges, seeing as how they are a lot of fun.
Also on Alan Wake.
Both of these are fucking amazing.

They do say it's "the biggest" GTA venture in the announcement, and while that is probably not in a literal sense, it probably will be very different
The map will be huge for sure, I mean, I understand not having planes in IV due to how Liberty City is and all, but now, it'd be foolish not to include that.

Shame, due to todays announcement, it probably will only be LS. Well, Rockstar haven't put out a bad game yet have they? I mean, I never played the Table Tennis one, but R* is known for not fucking up.

I have always liked the idea of comics/graphic novels but I wouldn't have the first clue which ones to read...
Dunno what kinda stuff you like, but Watchmen is a really good read for anyone really.
And yeah Ivan, Frank Miller is a genius. If you digged the Sin City flick, the comic book will rock your socks off. It's really sexy, and violent.

The only thing from this trailer that might disappoint me is if the game really doesn't have the 3 cities. I mean it can still be a fantastic GTA with one city, but to cut the other two out is like, uh, imagine a chick with awesome boobs, then she cut them off. It'd be like that, words escape me atm, sorry for the half baked comparison.

Los Santos is in San Andreas, and it's a version of Los Angeles.

I know this isn't music or film, but it's still entertainment, and since I don't see another thread for comics or even books nor have a better idea on where to place one, I created this.
Do you folks like comic books/ graphic novels? Or even manga and all that stuff, anyway, discuss it here.
Personally, I'm a huge Alan Moore and Frank Miller fan.
Watchmen, V for Vendetta, The Killing Joke, Sin City and the Frank Miller Batmans are so mindblowingly amazing.
I've also digged some spiderman and hulk stuff, but mainly what I mentioned above.
