  1. Suggestion: try harder. You shouldn't have to ask for help every other mission.
  2. Yep, enter then during in-game. No pause or anything. They should work. Type slowly so you can make sure you are typing the correct keys. Make sure not to save the game after you entered cheats.
  3. Dude, read my text. Cheating messes up your game. You can't undo or disable the cheats, so yes, you have to start a new game. Don't worry about money, because you make a lot more later in the game.
  4. Target your gang member and press G to recruit.
  5. You get a lot more respect faster later in the game. Also, you get respect for taking over gang territories. Why don't you try playing the game instead of posting 1000 topics and asking about every move you do? Sorry, but it's just sad to see someone who can't play the game without any cheats or help.
  6. My God, does anyone here NOT cheat while doing the missions? Dude, dont' cheat, it isn't the best way to do things. The missions can be done easily without cheating. Anyways, make sure you have the gang member targeted, then press G. I advise you not to cheat. It could mess things up and make you wish you never did it.
  7. In the beginning, let all of the cars crash into eachother, then fly by them. Take your time on the turns, and go fast on the straight-aways. It's pretty easy.
  8. How about an unlimited ceiling mod, just like the mission from the graveyard airfield, where you remote bomb that plane and jump out way above the ceiling level. It would be nice to be able to fly as high as you wanted.
  9. If R* were to come out with a patch, where can I find it? Would there be a link on the main page of this site, or do I have to go to R*'s official site?
  10. You should be able to easily complete the missions without cheats. As Eddie said, cheats are mainly for fun to mess around with, but not to save with.
  11. That doesn't matter. All it takes is one pop to the head and they are dead. It's all about patience and marksmanship, not spray n pray.
  12. I have this same problem, but it doesn't occur that often. The only way I have figured out to solve it is to quit the game and come back in. I think this is caused from an old sound card that isn't fully compatable to the game. Hopefully a patch or something will be released and our problems will be solved. Do you have any sound glitches when it rains? For me, all sounds go away except the radio, and when the rain is over, they all come back. It's weird.
  13. Alright, I thought so. That's too bad they couldn't add a little feature like that. It would be kinda cool. Thanks.
  14. I've read about the ability to wash your car because it may become dirty, with noticeable dirt on the lower sides of the car. I've seen the carwashes in game but when I drive through them nothing happens. Is it true that you can wash your car? I have some real nice modded cars that I would like to be as clean as possible. Do I have to unlock the carwash or something like that? Thanks.
  15. Did you complete the missions or are you 100%? I'm at about 48% and I haven't started any missions in Las Venturas yet.
  16. Yay! Another glitcher. Yeah I guess it could be the soundcard. Damn rain...
  17. So nobody else has this problem? No one with any solutions?
  18. San Andreas > III > Vice City Oh, and for you TVG... Halo > Halo 2 I think SA is a huge step up for the GTA series. So many more elements were added since VC and the game has changed greatly since GTAIII. The stories (missions) in SA make me feel like I'm playing a movie. SA grabs you more into the life of CJ and really makes you feel like you really are him. Right now I can't imagine what GTAIV is going to be like. Think of the advancements from GTAII/VC to SA. Imagine SA advanced to GTAIV. It's going to be awesome. All in all San Andreas is a new and highest milestone in the Grand Theft Auto series.
  19. It could be. I meet recommended specs for ram (512), but I am not sure about my sound card. My Dell is about 3+ years old, and I have a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card. I am not sure if it is Directx9 compatable. I bought a ATI RADEON 9800 PRO 256MB video card last year so I know I'm good there. I also have a P4 1.9ghz so I am fine there, too. My sound card could be old and not compatable. Can anyone verify that? Thanks.
  20. Hey all, I'm new to the site. I've been coming to the site and reading for about a month now, getting ready for SA on my PC. Well now I've got it and it is awesome. There's one thing that's bugging me. Whenever it rains, my sound glitches in the game and mostly everything becomes muted. Sometimes when the rain stops, the sound will come back. But sometimes it doesn't come back. This is really annoying and it has become frustrating as I have to quit the game and come back in. A friend of mine said he read about this problem somewhere and that's why he's getting it on Xbox. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Does anyone know if there will be an offical patch that will fix this problem? I absolutely love this game and I have been playing a lot lately. I have about 15 hours in the past two days. I need this sound glitch to be resolved quickly... it's very irratating! Thanks for your time. Peace.
  21. A#014 - To open the chute, you press the fire key. Yeah, I figured it out.
  22. Q#014 - On the PC version, how do you open the parachute? I jumped off a building with my chute on my back, and I pressed return or F, and several others but I never opened it. What is the correct button? Thanks.
