    I think it is better to propose the ideas directly to Chris and the admins, than to propose new ideas to the Creative Group, since Chris is still the one who is going to decide in the end.

    I felt sad when I read that the gangs were going to be removed. I think what the forum need is a group of several dedicated members to head the gang scene in the forums, since I know Chris and others were quite busy in maintaining the server. I think the gang scene went inactive because some members at the time of development were busy thus leaving the server neglected and maybe there's lack of development (some proposals were left unimplemented). But I do agree about that tournaments every month or two.

    Creative Groups will not only propose ideas. Instead, they are the ones who will make the ideas. But still other people can help too. And thus, reducing the stress on Chris and other staff.

    They will make up ideas,design mock-ups,etc. to improve TGTAP. And then they will submit them to the staff who will then approve/disapprove them based on how good the idea is. Maybe, this will even slightly lessen the work required to do by the staff.

    However, like gangs, they will not have private sub-forums. Instead, they will have a public forum, in which anyone and everyone can contribute and help. So, this will probably not contribute to the inactivity of TGTAP - like gangs did.

    So, does it make it ?

    No, no, they would be different. By making a suggestion box, the same thing will happen, the staff will have to filter out through all that is written there.

    Instead in Creative Groups, all the ideas will first have to approved by the Creative Group's members(that does not mean that they will not make their own ideas), then those ideas will be approved by staff and then maybe,Chris.

    Hello.

    I started GTA IV but am unable to ever load save game files that I have downloaded. I get the "check hard drive" error. I have tried everything (xlive wrapper, xliveless) both of which just prevent the loading of my game. That said, can anyone please write a step by step guide to installing and using a save game file I would like to use. Thanks- I'm playing on a Windows XP PC.

    Which service pack are you using of XP? SP1/SP2/SP3? Right click on my computer and click on properties to check.

    Please because I just want a 100% save game!!!

    Does it give you any error or something? Or does it just crash your pc ? It should at least run with that specs.

    If you downloaded the game illegally over the internet, the game might be corrupt.

    Besides, what Operating System(XP/Vista/7) are you using ? :yup:

    I read(or at least check) the homepage at least twice a week. :huh:

    Right click on gta3.img in it's folder and go to properties. Untick the 'read only' box.

    But after i did that, it just keeps changing it back to read only

    After unticking the read only box. Did you click on OK. Or did you cancel ??

    Wow, a gang system that has been dead for nearly a year now, and that is more important to talk about than retired staff members? Geez you guys, we love you too!........

    I totally agree with you Spaz. And me and S-V have been talking about this on msn for a while. I mean the old staff members who aren't active anymore, should be removed and new members should be made staff. And this should be done as quickly as possible, it should not be like 'oh! man...we'll do it later', if you know what I mean. Only if we manage to keep TGTAP active will the other sites like Paynekillers or Red Dead Redemption be active.

    TGTAP is the flagship website of the network. With that being dead, you are launching other websites ? Its like not repairing a damaged road and making new ones. If you know what I mean. :unsure:

    That leaves us with the same problem we have now - nobody has the time to run that sort of system. The idea of a tournament is that it is occasional rather than continuous. But it would be big, probably taking a whole month to do.

    I don't mean just one deathmatch, because that would be insane and unfair, and it's not as if everyone could be on at the same time. I meant a proper knockout tournament. We could have a league in each continent, and the winners (or the winning teams) battle it out against each other. The winners/winningteams would get prizes and benefits on the forum.

    That'll be great. I'would say go for it.

    Also, tournaments for gta4 would be great too.

    Yes, that'll be nice. But instead of a couple of times a year, how about a couple of times a month?

    I don't want to run it on resolutions really high. I mean not something like 2560x1600.

    Something like 1024x768(my desktop screen resolution) or 1280x720 pixels will be more than good for me.

    Also, I don't have a LCD. I have a Samsung SyncMaster 793MB 17 inch CRT Monitor. I don't plan on changing it either, since it runs fine even now. :)

    And by the max resolution my monitor supports. Do you mean the the max resolution I can use in Display Properties in Windows ? Then its 1280x1024 pixels.

    If you're really that desparate to find out, you could've just ran it.

    You should be able to, but don't hold out high hopes for the video settings. Depends alot at what res you're planning to use, really.

    I'm not "desparate", and i just can't install ir 'till I finish downloading the game. I didn't meant to disturb you, i should erase that "aaaanyone" comment.

    Don't worry. You should most probably be able to run it. :)
