Also remember that HDD performance may affect the game, and that you should disable any background programs before playing to free up resources. yep you'll definitely be able to run it. hey i heard that most games now dont really take advantage of quadcore / are more reliant on video card, is that true? so i would be better off buying a high end dual core (like e8500) rather than a quadcore... ? GTAIV uses over 80% Constant CPU Usage with a Q9550. For the last one, yeah it'll work. For the first two, if you magically could get it to start, you'd still be waiting for the first frame to load by the time GTA 5 came out, and your PC would have commited suicide by then. Also, those two hard drives together would be able to hold a whole 1/2 of the GTA IV Installation.

I got a XIGMATEK Dark Knight cooler. Well, I made another FSX Video! This one is of me trying to land at Paine Field, using as little runway as possible. Although the landing was a bit rough, I did manage to only use like 1/4 of the runway. (And I also almost stalled it twice, LOL)

Well, although I've been away from modding since February, I figured that now, (summer vacation) may be a good time to get back into it, and perhaps get better at it too. Well, for my last mod which was the Pepsi Factory, I had promised I'd make a version 1.1. Depending on how many suggestions I get here, I may do a 1.1, and I may just go for Version 2. Anybody got any suggestions as to what to revise? Well, for the first time since I've had my PC I decided to leave it on all night. When I woke up, all was normal, except for this which I noticed and WTF'd at when I saw the screen. It was completely random, as the 'up time' in Task Manager told me that it had shut off around 2:30 a.m. But everything still seems to be working fine, so two things:

I had EVERY setting on Ultra High, and all the Custom Settings on the Max Detail. It only takes like 45 seconds to load even on 1920x1080. But as I said, a bit of quality was lost when I compressed it from 7GB (AVI) to 286MB (WMV). I'm also pretty pissed that Youtube squished my Video into a 4:3 when it played fine on my PC.

Sorry about the lack of audio..... Oh yeah, and I just realized that I left the FLAPS on 30 degrees for like half the flight..... Whenever you hit F8 to record in FRAPS the Flaps on the aircraft are set to full, and I forgot to put em back.
