I had this problem ahh it was annoying, you have to update your drivers (sound,video etc..) click start then control panel then hardware and sound then device manager then find the sound one then click driver then click update driver search then it will ask computer or everywhere click everywhere once done that find processors and update them both (same process from before) and then one of thems your graphicscard (its like a chipset green thing if its vista it will be a family chipset something like that) just update it and it works fine if you have any problems add my msn : [email protected] (add not email coz i have loads of junk mail and ill probably miss you)

take a look on the sa-mp forums it is advised NOT to download sa-mp they COULD include a virus whilst playing. the source code was stolen that is why sa-mp was shut down last may My servers are showing now, check your firewall thats what might be blocking it or if you have Norton make sure you allow Symantec to allow sa-mp access to the internet

I had this problem a couple of weeks back and i couldnt even go on the www.sa-mp.com site so i thought sa-mp was going down but then the site worked then all the servers started to show again maybe there doing some maintenance on the hackers (sa-mp was shut down last may) because some hackers formed a group and stole the source code maybe there messing around and shut down sa-mp, sa-mp is under the hackers control so they can do anything even give you a virus so it was advised on the sa-mp site not to download it but its not shutting down... and PS. My servers wont show either

That version is hard to setup, where did you download it (recommended is vicecitymultiplayer.com) , i think a 0.3z client is easiest, and port try 7777

an Emulator is like eg. epsxe is an emulator is emulates ps1 games and lets them play on your pc if you start game and it tells you that it must think your playing on an emulator if you have anything like that just remove, delete or disable it (check your firewall)
