  1. Yeah, we've heard this before... LIARS!
  2. I believe i did say it from the start but okay. anyways im glad we're on the same page now. But i know they do listen to psychologist testimony. they use that to determine if he is legally insane. which to me makes sense because just cuz he had a mental disorder doesnt mean he didnt understand his actions. Example: ADHD or depression. both mental disorders where the person is still all there. as opposed to paranoid schitzophrenia
  3. but you cant just treat every crime as a mental disorder. people need to be held accountable for their actions. not every crime is a result of a mental disorder. sometimes a person is just bad. and a person who has the mental capacity to plan this out so thoroughly for so long is NOT insane and unable to understand his actions I am not saying every crime is committed by someone who has the potential to be declared insane at all what I am saying is in cases where it is likely that the person has some sort of mental problem you cannot treat them like any 'normal' criminal. This doesn't mean that will walk free it means that will be detained in an appropriate environment for their mental state. Also you could not be more wrong about what defines someone as insane or with mental problems. I have had many in depth conversations with people who are/have studied both this subject area in terms of its psychological implications and the legal implications of a crime being committed by someone who does not have all of their faculties. Just because they have planned it out does not necessarily mean that understand that the plans they have made are illegal or that once they have killed the person they will no longer be alive. Please do your homework before you make bold sweeping statements like that which are quite obviously factually incorrect. Well thats great that you've talked to experts, cuz so have I. one being a judge, who has devoted his entire life to studying criminal law. i think he knows what qualifies as legally insane. and thats the key here: LEGALLY insane. cuz legal definitions are all that matters in a court of law. medical definitions have no relevance. im sure medically he may have some inbalance. he would have to in order to want to kill so many people. but legally, i dont see that qualifying as insanity. for an insanity defense. He would have to have been incapable of Knowing the nature and quality of his act, Understanding the nature and quality of act, Distinguishing what is morally right and wrong, Distinguishing what is legally right and wrong. now granted thats the definition of Legal insanity in the state of California. but I'm sure it would be pretty close to the same in colorado...hopefully cuz i'll be sickened if he is found not guilty by reason of insanity. this guy deserves a lethal injection

  5. Sorry, i know this topic is old, but I saw this and HAD to say that, coming from a police officer and someone who studies law, spending months planning a mass shooting is a sign that he is NOT insane. Insanity means he does not understand the law, the nature of his actions, or right from wrong. Seeing as he spent months planning this attack to make sure it went exactly how he wanted, he obviously had a brain in his head which would negate any possibility of insanity. just a bad person that should be eligible for the death penalty Police officers seemingly have NO grasp on psychology. Sociopaths are not only incredibly intelligent, they are also incredibly organized, secretive, and elaborate. I happen to be studying psychopaths right now, and I do believe that is more on-par with judging someone's mental status than studying law. well good for you. but i'm saying legally this guy cannot be declared insane. if he's smart enough and all there enough to plan and practice for months, then he's smart enough to know right from wrong and thats the key to declaring him insane, whether or not he knew right from wrong Nice to see that the American legal system is just and fair then... you think thats unfair? why should this piece of shit be declared insane and ineligible for the death penalty or even standing trial? that would be unfair

  7. My thoughts: Fuck rockstar!! If they're gonna fuck with us like that they better start providing us with some new and better media! And where is the box art we were promised?

  9. I'm about to stop following this site with all these Vice City updates 10 years later. The year is 2012, not 2002...
  10. When i saw the title of this new update, I said to myself "finally" because its been nearly a month since anything new came out for GTA V. then i saw that its once again the same pic we've seen twice already from yet again another angle. show us something new! Jesus
  11. i signed this and it doesnt even matter to me if they release it on PC or not. I just think its stupid that they dont and i want to support those that only use PC and have a burning desire to get the game immediately like i do
  12. If that's not smog then what is it? Looks like smog to me. I am gonna agree with Chris that the draw distance looks amazing. And things from that far away in LA would reasonably be covered by smog and you wouldn't be able to see as much detail
  13. That dog is actually a Rottweiler not a pitbull
  14. Says the idiot who thinks I said anything whatsoever about the smog in my post...
  15. lol calm down, theres no need to have an attitude
  16. LOVE the middle one, i just wish that half of the los angeles skyline wasnt missing. its not even that big to begin with and obviously thats only like 1/3 of the city right? cuz they said its gonna be huge and that looks pretty small
  17. Yeah, kind of different from typical GTA characters
  18. Ok, Loved the cars, the dogs, the running water in the river was cool as opposed to the still water in SA rivers. and the lights on the police car look a lot more realistic than they did in GTA4 So far Rockstar hasn't really impressed me with the screen shots and trailers. i feel like you cant really see a whole lot in the screens theyre giving and this trailer was really cool and showed off awesome graphics never seen in a GTA game, it really mostly showed boring cutscenes. not a whole lot of action. i'd wouldve liked to see some guns or clearer shots of the city/countryside & i'm not pleased with the music in the game. it better get better. Please dont make the same mistake you made with GTA4 not to say i dont think the game will be great, cuz i do. i just wish theyd show us more of it than they have been I completely agree with TUN3R
  19. Perhaps its their salton sea maybe not. remember in San Andreas you can go out as far as you want, you just wont find anything. (And I think in IV too)
  20. Yes, so far it looks like they have LAPD cars as well as LA Sheriff's vehicles (in the pic behind the vinewood sign). soooo realistic! although LASO cars aren't white, its still cool
  21. At this point, the main thing I'm praying for is modern recognizable/popular music. GTA4's music was not only ancient but i never heard of ANY of those songs
  22. That's fantastic!! NOW SHOW US THE GODDAMN PROMISED 8-PAGE ARTICLE!!!!!!
  23. It's about time seeing as these douche bags brought out trailer one over a year ago
