  1. Go with a bigger rear swaybar than front swaybar ... then you'll get some decent oversteer.

If I could find the parts, I was thinking of going with bigger swaybars from a Taurus SHO ... but coluldn't find any.

  2. It's still fun to change the spark plugs on the 3.0. You have to position yourself so you are above the engine.

After I changed the plugs the car wouldn't run for some reason. Apparently I forgot that I unhooked the IAC and TPS.

  3. I've seen under the hood of a couple Windstars, Looks like a Taurus drive train. Get one w/ a 3.8 & you could probably use

a supercharger kit from a 'Stang.

    400 HP mini-van. That's just wrong.

Windstar is kinda based off of the Taurus. So yes, same engine and transaxles. The only thing is the Split Port Induction intake manifold won't fit under the hood of a 96-07 Taurus

  4. Well, today my friend asked my mom what she would think if I was gay.. It seemed like she wouldn't care that much... I think I might actually tell everyone today or tomorrow. It'll be good.

Having a friend ask your mom the question might have been good. Now she is prepared for it.

  5. Meant the car, haha. I don't like minivans... if I drove one as a DD as a teenager, I'd feel kind of.. just weird. :/

I love my Taurus, but if I could swap it for a 2nd generation Windstar SE Sport, I'd be all over that. I'd pull out the back seats. It wouldn't be too slow and I'd have room for my stuff I carry.

  6. The larger wheels and tires would have the effect of higher gear ratios. But it would be a lot of rotating mass. I considered going with taller tires on my Taurus. One of the reasons was a tad better gas mileage, the other was I wouldn't be putting so many miles on the odometer.

Edit: I believe it's called Donk or something.

  7. I wish I could find the video. There was a video of someone with 30'' (I think) polyurethane wheels. He tried to drag race it and snapped the axle shaft. The wheel and axle shaft went rolling down the track.

Moral of the story, if you are going to run 30'' tires and like 40'' wheels, get heavier axles.

  8. My music - Classic Rock, Southern Rock and Country - some new stuff too

Clothes - Plain and/or preppy (as someone called me, I took offense). Usually jeans and a tshirt, or somewhat fancier jeans and a button up shirt or one of them polo shirts.

Hobbies - War games (COD, MOH), computers, tinkering, cars

    I don't think I fit in a group.

  9. Oneness?

    Anyway ...

I brought up something that would get her to say "You like girls, right?" When she asked I kinda stuttered and muttered I'm gay. She asked me if I was sure or I just thought. And I told her I was sure. Then she said she would love me no matter what - as long as I'm happy. And she said that she had her suspicions and kinda knew so it wasn't a surprise to her.

She could tell I felt really bad about it. She was sad for the way I felt, not about how I am gay.

She took it better than I did. She thinks I should go to some sort of counseling for the depression. I told her I didn't want to tell the doctor because he would instantly put me on some sort of pills (I don't do pills)

Mom told dad before breakfast this morning while I was still sleeping. She told him. He took it ok. He suspected it for a while, and apparently has asked my mom a few years ago if I was gay.

Then my mom started crying because she felt so bad for me; because I feel ashamed of it. According to her, my father instantly said that I have nothing to be ashamed of.

Dad woke me up for breakfast this morning and said something that mom told him my concerns and he fine with them or something like that (I wasn't wide awake).

So I'm happy that my parents know and accept it

I still feel really bad about not having kids and being an only child.

But I feel that I am letting them down because I'm an only child ... but there's nothing I can do about it.
