Swoop
Help! I bought myself a prezzie and then got around to digging out the GTA:SA DVD, installed it fine, ran it, all looked good...... Started a new game and it's unplayable. Um....it runs too fast, the game clock ticks by really quick, cars and peds all move about at turbo speed. Reminds me of trying to run an old DOS game on a Pentium when they first came out. It's like the game does not refer to the internal clock of the PC and just tries to run as fast as it can. system: AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core 4200+ 2Gb DDR2 RAM ATI 1950XT D'ya think it's cos I'm running a dual core processor? And if so, how do I turn one of em off? Any other ideas? Oh, and I think the game version is 1.00, how do I tell?

LoneWolf62798003
wow, thats a good thing I stumbled on this. I am about to get a powerful computer, and its gonna be good to know that I can work this stuff. might be useful to make a list of all problems possibly capable of hapening with upgraded computers. not just this one, but a thread on solutions. bitch about it here, then when you find the answer, put it on the pinned thread. really good spotting and reporting.
