Cliff Burton
OK I've got GTA:SA on computer a couple of weeks ago so I installed it and played it, but when ever I played it, it just came up with the two videos at the start then closed down, so I tried that a couple of times, still didn't work. So than I read the system requirements in detail and found that I need both Windows XP Home & Pro installed on my computer, but I only have Pro, so I spent the last couple of weeks trying to borrow XP Home off someone so I can install it. Now when I try install Home, its says if I want install Home I'll have to delete Pro, which won't do anything, so how on earth do I install Home & Pro?? Sherman
Whoa, no dude. You can't have 2 OS's at the same time, you're fine with Pro.

Sherman
Hm, make sure your graphics card can handle it (TGTAP site, under san andreas system requirements) and all your drivers are up to date. I'm going to bed, though. Hopefully someone will get on and help you more. -Sky
Cliff Burton
Actually I'm not sure what Video Card I have, if any same with the Stereo Sound Card, so how to check them and where can I get them from?
QuickDeath
Press Start/Run/ type in ''dxdiag'', press enter, if it asks something press enter again. A window will come up, press the Display tab, look what it says where ''Dvice'' is , post here name, DAC type and total memory. Also all DirectX features mentioned under should be enabled. Cliff Burton
Looks like I'll have to just move the game on to my external hard-drive, so then I connect it up to our laptop.
Urbanoutlaw
Check the video on the laptop, a lot of them only have "on board" video. If you can spare about $50 (plus shipping), look here for a video card. Mine gets along good w/ SA http://www.dealtime.com/xGS-nvidia_5500
