LCS was made w/out the intent of you having access to a heli, so they didn't bother texturing areas that you weren't supposed to get to. This was done to save rescorces on the PSP. The invisible wall at the train station is probably a missing texture of a sign saying "CRANBERRY STATION" At over 4.5 gig installed, it's no surprise they missed a detail or two.
