neoswagga Posted March 24, 2008 Share Posted March 24, 2008 I got a few mods i want to install but there script mods in i have no idea how to install them, i got sami in itry to install them but get a error message that says the mods arent capatable with sami, if there cars thay need dff or if there something else you need to create a file but how do i do that? Urbanoutlaw Posted March 24, 2008 Share Posted March 24, 2008 You replace your MAIN.SCR file in the DATA/SCRIPT folder. Before you do, make a new folder & name it OLD SCRIPT or similar & move your original script there. This way you can put it back if you don't like the new one. Do_Not_Fear_cause_I'm_here Posted March 24, 2008 Share Posted March 24, 2008 You need a MAIN.SCM file from version 1.0. I got one from a friend. Here is one http://www.gtagaming.com/downloads/?p=file&id=1223 . Just download it and just replace your MAIN.SCM file with the 1.0 file. That way you can play any version 1.0 game save files. Do_Not_Fear_cause_I'm_here Posted March 24, 2008 Share Posted March 24, 2008 Its called MAIN.SCM. You don't need a tool. Just go to; C:/Program Files/Rockstar Games/GTA San Andreas/Data/Script/ Replace the files MAIN.SCM with the version 1.0 MAIN.SCM. Keep your original MAIN.SCM somewhere safe if needed again. neoswagga Posted March 25, 2008 Author Share Posted March 25, 2008 ok guys thanks for the help, i found the main.sc file but it doesnt have a 'm' or 'r' next to to 'sc' i hope thats ok, anyway so i just make a new file copy in paste the main.sc there, then go back to data in delete the main.sc file then paste my modded file? oh in the mods im tryin to use are the 2pac mod, in the make ballas bloods and grove crips Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

neoswagga Posted March 26, 2008 Author Share Posted March 26, 2008 ay man i cant thank you enough for that, i didnt know what i was doing before that pic lol, ok so ive copied the main.scm file in the script.img file in to a seperate file titled old scripts, now what do i do, im trying to mod cj to look like 2pac in ive already downloaded the 2pac mod so where do i go from here?
