I order a used Dell inspiron 1420 from Dell's outlet for $629 When I received it, the laptop was physically broken A call to dell and they shipped me a replacement. When I got the replacement, I quickly discovered that it was brand new. Made me happy. The specs are ... Red Lid 1.83 Core 2 Duo 128mb Nvidia 8400m GS 2gb Memory 120g HDD 14.1'' matte widescreen display - all laptops should have matte Vista Ultimate Once i have it this school year and I find out that it is reliable, I'll end up selling my Inspiron 1520 and building a desktop. I haven't used it much and I'm already buying upgrades for it - started with an Intel 4965 wireless N card and i'm looking to buy a black keyboard for it. Also I think matte screens are more durable but they appear a bit dull! Thats a good laptop you have there.
