Connor
Bit late, but what did you guys get for your SATs results? I got: English = 6 Maths = 5 Science =
Bear
Thats very good, beware of the SATs though. They are not worth the stress. Now your in GCSE year concentrate on them even though you will notice the teachers dont care about the GCSE comapred to the SATs.
TM™
Yeah, GCSE has been hell for me, and will be the same for pretty much everyone who's doing this at school. I've passed my GCSE and did well, and in a few days now I'll be in college. Luckily now I can stop stressing on my coursework from school. But I'm guessing I'll be getting more coursework in college, but yeah, the thing is, you're doing what you desire to learn, so it shouldn't be too hard unless you've been through GCSE. I never really concentrated in SAT's since it's not really important. I got only 1 good level, but failed the other two, but that didn't really stop me from doing well in GCSE. Now I've got some awesome grades, and once school's over, it's worth taking a break if you pushed yourself forward. Connor, nice marks.
Connor
thanks... Despite my marks, I got put in shit sets anyway...Apparently because I don't do much work...Like I know people who got a 4 or 5 in English and are in Set 1, and I'm in Set 3...It's really fucked up. Hey there's no worries about that. I was put in Set 5 for English, and yet my teacher said I could do a Higher Tier Paper for it, but considering how hard it is, I didn't, but I ended up getting a C in it. As long as you concentrate, you'll do good.
Connor
Well, my support assistant said I'd at least get a C in everything, probably B for some things... I'm in Set 2 for Science though, and Set 1 for core ICT, and all my options. Edited September 5, 2008 by Connor

I think I did the exact as well. Well, in ICT I got a B and Science I got a D. But yeah, C's are decent enough to get you into a job, A-Level's, BTECS or Apprenticeships. Any here or lower is fine too (D's are okay too at some point if you're doing foundation level).
MrLlamaLlama
Most courses at college need 5 A* - C grades (or equivalent) at GCSE for entry. Like, i did Sixth form, you need a B in a given subject at GCSE to do A level, but some subjects require more. (Philosophy req's 3 A's or better at GCSE)
Connor
I don't give a shit if I do shit really, just I'm gonna try hard and see what I get, and if it doesn't work out, just play guitar.
TM™
I don't give a shit if I do shit really, just I'm gonna try hard and see what I get, and if it doesn't work out, just play guitar. Lol. Some exams aren't hard really, some require general knowledge on the subject (Fact). This years GCSE wasn't hard, they shouldn't be hard once you're in your final year of school. Connor
I picked ICT, Music and Graphics... ICT is easy as fuck. Completeted like everything that I could complete in Year 9... Music is pretty easy, but the complicated parts are extremely hard... Graphics is more or less easy, but have to put a lot of effort and stuff into it. TM™
Graphics is more of the same as Art since the only thing you do in there is completely replicate fonts. You make more, but don't know details on it. I did only Art and Resistant Materials along with other subjects and aced a few subjects, but really as long as you get somewhere you want, then that's fine. ICT is well quite easy, well at some point. Music, well I sucked at. I'm kind of glad that's not compulsory.
